Kjørsvik Øvre is an old family farm in Kjørsvika, a beautiful bay on the brink of the fjords and the open sea. The farmhouse continues a separate flat for guests with a little library and a dining room with an open fire. Farm animals, riding lessons in dressage and historical combat riding, trailriding, fishing-and hiking opportunities and a grand beach. The National Tourist Routes of The Atlantic Road and Geiranger - Trollstigen are easily within our reach. We welcome you to our corner of the world. The space Kjørsvika is a peaceful and beautiful spot right before the great shores of Hustadvika with the fishing village of Bud and The Atlantic Road. From the house there is a fine view to the beach belonging to the farm and the impressive mountain panorama across the fjord. The old farmhouse is surrounded by a garden and a little forest. Here you can take your morning coffee on the stairs outside and have a nice evening by the fireplace outdoors or inside. You may enjoy walking down to the sea, maybe bringing a fishing rod. Guest access In the house: Nostalgic and personal interior with details from family history and gone days. There is a small library and an elegant dining room with an open fire. We have chosen not to have a TV, internet is available. Board games and deck of cards available. A simple supply of coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, oil, spices and herbs in the kitchen to get you started. Outdoors: Just outside the house: Garden and a little forest with barbeque opportunities. Sandy beach and playground right above it, seashore, forest and mountain walks and fishing possibilities. There is a riding arena and a roundpen with a little nook with a fireplace besides. You may book riding lessons/short hacks. Additional price list: Pay on the spot. - Riding Lesson/hack: 300,- NOK - In case you wish to go boating/fishing on the open sea we may get you in touch with guides who can take you out. Other things to note Firestoves in all rooms. Fire wood available. All bedrooms upstairs. Take care in the rather narrow stairs. Two of the bedrooms have a common door, so the one who has got the inner one must pass the other one to get out to the stairs. In other words, you'd better be good friends, a flexible family or an easy-going person or couple/pair of friends to be comfortable with that arrangement. There are other working farms nearby . Bring mosquito repellant in the summertime for your well-being. We have weather, lots of it all year round, so bring sensible clothing.
