A rural retreat in Ôlas, a small quiet village with views of the hills and green fields in the heart of the Douro, perfect for relaxation, nature and simplicity; This home is on the second floor of a traditional house, with access by stairs, and can host up to 6 guests; Ideal for families, couples, or groups of friends looking for tranquility; Perfect for walking, reading, practicing yoga, or simply doing nothing. The space 3 cozy bedrooms – 2 rooms with double beds, and 1 room with a double bed a single bed; 1 full bathroom; Open-plan kitchen and living room, fully equipped to cook meals and enjoy quality time together; Two balconies - one facing east to enjoy the morning sun, and the other facing west, perfect for relaxing at the end of the day and watching the sunset; Private parking; Backyard with chickens (you can see them around). Guest access Check-in: To ensure that your arrival is smooth and welcoming, please let us know your approximate time of arrival. On the day of your arrival, someone from the family will be on hand to personally hand over the keys and welcome you. Check-out: On the day of departure, we ask that you arrange a convenient time to return the keys. Other things to note 10 minutes by car from the Douro River and Ferradosa train station; About 4 hours from Lisbon and 2 hours from Porto by car; ⚠️ Please note: the village has no restaurants or supermarkets – the nearest ones are about 30 minutes away by car, so we recommend bringing groceries when you arrive. If you're coming by train, you'll have to let us know. The house is about 10 minutes away by car, and we'll have to arrange a transfer service. This service has an extra cost. In September and October, it’s harvest season in the vineyards. Guests may have the chance to witness (and maybe even take part in) the grape harvest — a lively and beautiful time of year.
