Morning View at Sandy Pond

Quaint cottage with wrap around deck overlooking North Sandy Pond. The sunrises in the morning are nothing short of spectacular! This house sits just over the walking bridge from the parking lot near Sandy Island Beach on the pond side and comes with private parking spots. It is also walking distance to the beautiful Sandy Island Beach and you can launch boats at the near by Sandy Pond Marina. Short 2 minute walk from the parking lot to the house. Not suitable for anyone unable to walk in. The space This property is not handicap accessible. Path to house is only partially lit at night. Flashlights are recommended when walking in and out in the dark. This cottage has well water that is tested every spring and is drinkable. However, because of the high iron in the area the water can be slightly discolored at times. Some people prefer to drink bottled water. Other things to note Boat docking, canoe, or kayak are available upon request. Great fishing spots on the walking bridge or near the parking lot all within walking distance. Sandy Island Beach is also within walking distance and know for its perfect sandy beach and amazing sunsets over Lake Ontario. Please note that there is a short walk from the parking lot over a bridge to the cottage. Most people find the walk enjoyable and easy. Please keep in mind that the homes in this area are all built on a sand dune. There is absolutely no walking on the sand dune directly behind the house as it will kill dune grass and cause erosion. Please stay on designated walking paths and walk through parking lot to Sandy Island Beach in order to get to the beach/lake. *No access to private beaches, public beach access only
