Self-contained Garden Cottage in idyllic location

Nestled in the grounds of our home, River Dale Garden Cottage is the perfect self-contained retreat for 'getting away from it all'. Situated in the picturesque Meon Valley, within the South Downs National Park, Garden Cottage is just a minute’s walk to the chalk stream, River Meon and access to the Meon Trail (the dis-used Railway Line) - perfect for walking, cycling and horse riding. Centrally located for exploring the cities of Winchester, Portsmouth, Southampton or Chichester. The space Accessed via some shallow steps and a brick path the single-storey accommodation comprises bi-fold doors leading directly into the open-plan living/dining/kitchen area with door leading through to the double bedroom with ensuite wetroom. Outside, the cottage has its own private fenced garden with seating area. The Cottage is equipped for self-catering. There will be tea, coffee, sugar and milk provided. We welcome one, well behaved, dog (there is a surcharge of £20 – payable at time of stay). There is secure storage for bikes available if required. By separate negotiation, during summer months we can even offer a paddock for your horse if you can’t leave home without it! Please be assured that the cleanliness of Garden Cottage is even more important than ever so additional cleaning measures have been put in place before you arrive and sanitiser and cleaning products will be provided for your own use during your stay. Other things to note Off street parking is available for one car. By prior arrangement, for anyone with an Electric Vehicle I can offer an outdoor electric socket for charging. This is located 2m from the parking space. There is an additional charge for the electricity usage which can be discussed before your stay.
