A charming barn conversion for up to four, in the heart of the beautiful old mining village of Brassington.With stunning walks and close to Carsington reservoir, Bakewell, Hopton Hall, Alton Towers and Chatsworth. In the village-The Old Gate Inn & The Miners Arms, both known for quality ales and great food & St James’s church dating back to 1066. Upon return you can light the wood burning stove, enjoy a soak in the large roll top bath or simply relax in the atmosphere.We are also pet friendly. The space This property has a good size, landscaped, pebbled patio area overlooking the beautiful rolling hills of Brassington. With the use of a chiminea for those chilly nights ( enough wood is provided for your first night and we can provide more wood for a small fee). A six seater dining area is Ideal for outdoor feasts and relaxing in the beautiful surroundings. Solar lights provide the perfect ambience for night time at the barn. Electric heating throughout the barn plus a cosy wood burning stove with enough logs and kindling for your first nights stay. Within a short walk away from two lovely pubs. In the heart of one of the most beautiful places to be. Both bedrooms have their own private W.C with a sumptuous roll top bath in the upstairs master bedroom and a shower adjoining the downstairs bedroom. Ideal for a couples romantic getaway or two separate couples who will enjoy two entirely private bedrooms with their own W.C. An in door dining area seats four guests. Children are also welcome at the barn and will enjoy children’s bedding and a few extra touches to ensure that they feel at home. Please feel free to ask about a cot / stair gate or high chair. The barn is pet friendly and deep cleaned after each stay. Guest access Fully private, beautiful barn conversion all to yourselves! Guests also have access to their own private outdoor area (perfect for dining ) with lovely views. We are dog friendly - Please note that we only allow one dog, if you’d like to bring up to two feel free to ask me. Dogs must be kept completely under control and on a lead if they are in the garden (although your outdoor space is private and completely yours we do live next door and have children). Certain breeds may be refused at my discretion. Brassington and the surrounding areas are very dog friendly and welcoming. Other things to note The master bedroom is upstairs where you can enjoy a nice relaxing soak in the deep, roll top bath ( with a separate W.C and wash basin). The shower is downstairs in the en suite bathroom which adjoins the bedroom containing two, full sized single beds. We do allow children of all ages but advise that there is a log burning stove ( a fire guard is supplied ). The cupboards do not have child locks on them but cleaning products are kept in a container which can be placed out of reach. Parents and carers are asked to take note that some aspects of the property will need full supervision to ensure children’s safety. A baby gate can be provided on the property and I will endeavour to make sure you have everything that you need for a safe and comfortable stay. Guests with a dog - Please note that we only allow one dog in the property but we are willing to discuss the option of having two. If you are bringing a dog, they must be kept completely under control and on a lead if they are in the garden (although your outdoor space is completely yours we do live next door and have children). We ask that dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms or on furniture and they must also be included when booking as some breeds may not be accepted. Thank you. Electric vehicles- we do not permit guests to charge their electric vehicles on the property but can give details of lots of nearby charge points. Thank you.
