Unwind in the "classroom" of the Alte Schule Brandenburg: a lovingly furnished vacation apartment in the idyllic 64-inhabitant village of Sechzehneichen, surrounded by fields, forests and lakes. A wild garden with chickens, a cozy tiled stove and a boathouse with the rowboat "Freistunde" await you. Perfect for swimming, paddle boarding, cycling and relaxing. The house can be rented either as a whole or in 2 separate units. Only part of the house is offered in this listing. The space The perfect place to unwind: Our lovingly furnished apartment is located in the idyllic village of Sechzehneichen, which has just 64 inhabitants, and is surrounded by fields, forests and two nearby lakes. An old tiled stove, our wild garden and the chickens on the property provide special country house charm. A special extra: The accommodation includes a private boathouse, about 5 minutes away by car. Our rowing boat "Freistunde" is located there and can be used by our guests. The apartment: The approx. 41 m² apartment can accommodate a maximum of 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. It has: - a 1.60 m wide double bed - a foldable sofa bed (1.20 m wide) - a small kitchenette with two hotplates - One bathroom - a cozy living and dining area - Garden & amenities In our barn, you will find everything you need for relaxing summer days in the garden: a charcoal grill, a gas grill, two stand-up paddle boards, a hammock, deck chairs, games and other garden furniture. In the evening, you can end the day by the fire pit and roast marshmallows or bread on a stick over the fire. A charging facility is available for electric cars. On request, a sauna barrel can also be booked and delivered for your stay. Surroundings: The peaceful surroundings are wonderful for walking, biking, swimming, paddling and rowboat excursions. Just about ten minutes away by car are the Obersee and Untersee, where you can spend wonderful summer days. Two stand-up paddle boards are available for the guests. An absolute MUST is a trip to the Brandenburg island garden "INSL Kyritz" with a beer garden on a small island in the Untersee. For rainy days, excursions such as a visit to the Ritter Kahlbutz or a visit to the thermal spa in Neuruppin are ideal. There are shops in Kyritz (10 minutes' drive). From Berlin you need about 1.5 hours by car, from Hamburg about 2 hours. Cozy even in winter: In addition to the tiled stove, the vacation apartment is heated by a split air conditioner, so it is pleasantly warm even in the cold season. In addition, the beds are equipped with electric blankets in winter. Another note: The historic house is not very soundproof. Since there is another apartment in the building, there may be occasions when you hear other guests. However, you will never meet inside the house, as you will use two different entrances to the house, and we will lock two doors inside the house. You may only share the garden, the chicken eggs and the rowboat with the guests of the other apartment.
