1.5 miles down a well maintained dirt road is a little slice of heaven on Brewer Lake. 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a large kitchen and dining area, living room, along with washer & dryer. Outside offers a wrap around deck, plenty of seating to enjoy your meals/coffee outside while looking at the lake. Stairs down connect the path leading to the water where 2 kayaks and a firepit are waiting. The space 25 min from Bangor International Airport Less than 10 miles outside the three B's: Bangor, Brewer, and Bucksport shopping/entertainment areas. 45 minutes to Castine and a little over an hour to Acadia National Park, depending on traffic. Located on a private road 1.5 miles back in the woods. Very quiet, peaceful area with only sounds of loons and peepers at night. Situated on spring fed Brewer Lake which is stocked with landlock salmon, as well as bass, and white perch. Main features are peace, quiet, and beauty, yet only a few miles away from bucket list experiences! Guest access The large garage is off limits to guests. Other things to note Our place is Not pet friendly. We offer our washer and dryer to our guests, however we don't supply laundry detergent. What's there is from past guests. To get to the lake, you must walk down a set of stairs and down a path. The lake access is not for those with walking issues. Our place is located in the woods and while we do our best to keep the deck, tables and chairs clean, the pollen, and tree debris almost always takes over within hours of cleaning! We offer a gas grill to our guests and ask that you clean it after every use. We supply a roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, hand soap in each bathroom, a sponge for dishes, dish detergent, cascade for the dishwasher, and coffee filters. If during your stay, you use up any of these, it's up to you to purchase more if you need it. We do not supply coffee, spices, cooking oil etc. What's at the rental is from past guests.
