DETAILS: Top floor end unit at The Summit of Gatlinburg. No overhead noise. Bedding- Loft The one of a kind rustic loft features a comfortable queen bed, small closet, shelving unit for storage, nightstand cabinet and a portable fan. Different from other Summit condos, our unique 4 foot wood wall in the loft provides privacy to the bunk nook and sofa bed below. Draw the curtains or wake up to gorgeous mountain views through the skylight. Family Room Bedding Children and teens love the “bear den” bunk bed nook and the full size sofa bed adds an additional option for sleeping arrangements. This cozy condo provides a great value with bedding to sleep 5. However, please note it is a small space (400 sq. feet) and some guests find it crowded with 5 people. Kitchen Fully stocked kitchen with compact oven (4 burners), microwave, small dishwasher, coffee maker (single brew and pot) toaster, full size refrigerator, crock pot, pots, pans, dishes, glassware, eating utensils and all supplies to cook meals. We provide coffee, creamer and sugar for your first morning. Bathroom Bathroom with rustic wood look custom tile shower with single vanity, and toilet. Plenty of bath, hand towels, and wash clothes will be provided. We provide 2 small shampoos and conditioners, body wash and bar soaps for your first day in case you have forgotten any of these personal items. Family Room The cozy family room has been completely remodeled with a 2 story stone wood burning fireplace. (Wood bundles available for purchase in the office.) The counter height dining table can seat 4. The large TV over the fireplace has cable and WiFi connections for streaming your favorite apps. Condo features local photography, paintings, and pottery from local area artists and craftsmen located on the Arts and Crafts loop. About the Complex The Summit complex has an indoor pool and 2 hot tubs in the new pool complex building, a seasonal outdoor heated pool, a playground, outdoor charcoal park grills, picnic tables, and a laundromat. During office hours 9-5 Mon- Sat and 12-4 Sunday charcoal, laundry detergent and firewood can be purchased. Cash only. Office has change for laundry machines. There is an arcade machine and a change machine in the lobby. There is a drink machine in the laundromat. Free parking. Housekeeping: Bath, hand towels, washcloths are provided for each registered guest. A starter set of shampoo, conditioner and soap is provided. Toilet tissue and paper towels are provided. Kitchen towel, sponge, washcloth, dish soap and dishwasher soap are provided. For stays longer than 7 nights a complimentary midweek clean up can be arranged. Please contact me before your stay to schedule. NOTE: We provide 4 pool towels. If you need more, please bring them. Before checking out, all you need to do is wipe up spills on kitchen counters, load and run the dishwasher and empty garbage and take to dumpsters. Leave dirty towels on bathroom floor and dirty linens on bed. Housekeeping will take care of everything else. Please note, to have the incredible views I have at my condo, you will have to drive about 15 minutes up Ski View Drive to the top of the mountain. This is a city maintained road that is lined and wide enough to pass oncoming traffic. It is well worth the drive to escape the town crowds and have the gorgeous views. But please realize that you are going to be driving a curvy mountain road. Some guests find the drive “scary” but usually get used to it. Kroger, Pigeon Forge 12 mi, approx. 25 min. - On the Mountain: Ober Mountain 3.3 mi. approx. 11 min. Snow skiing, tubing, snowboarding, ziplining, ice skating, mountain coaster On Ski Mountain Road there is a Chalet Village Market that sells sandwiches, pizzas, snacks, batteries, healthcare items, pantry items, beer, ice cream, etc. The market is 2.1 miles and approx. 7 minutes. Also on Ski Mountain Road is Ski Mountain Pizza restaurant that serves spaghetti, meatballs, subs, salads, chicken fingers and of course pizza to name a few items. You can order to go or delivery. Ski Mountain Pizza is 2.9 miles and takes approx. 9 minutes. Guest access This is a private condo unit. You will receive access instructions the day before your reservation. Other things to note As noted in the description, guest will need to be able to climb the 3 flights of stairs to the unit. There is no elevator access. Quiet hours are 6 pm until 9 am. No partying or loud behavior disturbing other guests is allowed.
