Holiday off-grid in your own private field on the banks of Loch Dunvegan. You only need food and toiletries. The space Your 5m Bell tent has an integral stove, memory foam sprung mattress double bed, sofa, solar powered battery to plug in your essentials, water and a cool box. Outside you have your own toilet & shower tent with hot and cold running water. Table & chairs and fire pit/barbecue. There is good phone signal for most networks. Guest access Park your car in the driveway, knock on the door, and we'll walk you to your private gated 6 acre field :) Other things to note This is off grid camping and although we've put everything in place to make this the comfortable glamping experience you're looking for it is in a remote location. Water for drinking and washing is provided. The compost loo will be emptied and cleaned daily . Your dogs can run free on the fenced 6 acre field but must be kept on a lead when you leave it. This is because of livestock but also out of respect for nearby eagle territories (Golden & White Tailed) and potential nests for a variety of different birds. Finally it's worth mentioning the weather. Sunny or cloudy, it will be dramatic and breathtakingly beautiful. There is always chance of high winds and heavy rain on Skye, even in summer. The tent does cope with high winds but it can be noisy. Weather here can also change quickly and due its volatility forecasts aren't as accurate as other parts of the country. So if its very bad it doesn't rule out a scorcher the following day - or even that afternoon. On the flipside very sunny weather can turn bad quickly so its always good to be prepared with appropriate footwear and clothing etc. especially when climbing.
