A delightful accommodation on the attic floor of an ancient noble palace in the historic center, characterized by original solutions of modern conception in the sloping ground ceilings, in the surfaces of the walls and in the systems. The space The Antico Attico Blu is an apartment on the third floor attic of an ancient noble palace in the historic center; the accommodation has been customized by geometrically shaping the ceilings and creating contrasts with the colours of the plasters of the walls; it consists of a large entrance, a living space with a sofa (which if necessary becomes a comfortable bed of m.1,30x2,00) dining table and fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with double bed and a bathroom complete with shower. The apartment is very bright being equipped with three balconies and several windows, quiet because it overlooks the inner courtyard of the building and is air-conditioned. From the balconies you can admire the profile of the city from above and the dome of the Benedictine Monastery; free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, linen, pots and dishes, fridge, induction hob, kettle, table and chairs are available to guests. A hairdryer and a comfortable shower are available in the bathroom with two windows. Guest access Guests have all the space that has a private entrance accessible from a staircase accessible from the courtyard of the building. The keys to the listing will be provided by me when guests arrive. Other things to note Antico Attico Blu is located in the historic center of Catania on the third floor of an ancient noble palace. If you arrive at the airport you can reach us by taxi (with Radiotaxi 0958833 the rate is fixed €.22) but also with the public shuttle called Alibus that leaves every 25 minutes from the airport at the cost of € .4.00 per person and get off at the Archi or Dusmet stops that are the closest on foot to our property (15 minutes). We offer those who request a transfer service for up to 4 people from our facility to the airport at a cost of €.15. If you arrive by car, a place for a small car in the courtyard of our building is available upon request for guests at a cost of €. 10 per day. Paid street parking is also possible with a parking meter on weekdays from 8 am to 1 pm and from 3 pm to 8 pm on the blue stripes in Via Garibaldi (cost € .0.87 per hour and €. 2.90 half day); it is also possible to park for free on the side streets. In our vicinity there is also a private parking lot guarded for a fee (Via Sardo n.18) 5 minutes away by foot at the cost of € .12 for 24 hours. If you arrive by train or bus at Stazione Centrale you can reach us on foot in 30 min. or by taking the Metro to Piazza Stesicoro and then on foot in 15 minutes; from the Piazza della Stazione Centrale you can also get there by city bus and get off at Via Vittorio Emanuele.
