Darton station (which is a small village station), a mere 5-minute stroll from our doorstep, offers convenient access to and from the capital. For those arriving by train, Barnsley, our nearest town, is just a quick 5- 10 minute taxi ride away, costing approximately £10. Wakefield is a short journey of around 15 minutes by taxi, with fares averaging around £20. While Sheffield and Leeds are a tad further, they remain easily accessible by both train and taxi. If you prefer public transportation, buses passing through Darton provide routes to Leeds, Wakefield, and Barnsley town, ensuring flexibility and convenience during your stay. The key lockbox is mounted on the wall beside the door on the decking. As a whole-house rental, please note that two rooms are kept locked to safeguard personal and housekeeping items, which are clearly marked and inaccessible to guests. Additionally, certain drawers containing housekeeping equipment are secured, but rest assured, this won't impact your stay. Our kitchen is stocked with an array of herbs, spices, salt, pepper, oils, and more, all readily accessible to guests. In the house bathroom, a cupboard houses miscellaneous supplies for your convenience – please feel free to use what you need. We provide a starter supply of toilet rolls and two towels per guest (with additional towels available for longer stays).
