Our 16-bed Wilderness Bunkhouse features custom-built bunks with Twin XL memory foam mattresses, privacy curtains, lights, fans and outlets, all within the warm, ski-lodge setting of The Maine Roadhouse. Perfectly located between Sugarloaf & Saddleback and minutes from the Appalachian Trail, and other adventures. It’s a welcoming home base for skiers, hikers, workers, fall travelers, road trippers and anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay. The space Your stay includes your own custom-built bunk in our shared 16-bed Wilderness Bunkhouse. Each sturdy bunk has a real Twin XL memory foam mattress, privacy curtain, individual light, fan and outlet, giving you a comfortable personal space within the bunkhouse. You’ll have full use of The Maine Roadhouse, including shared bathrooms with hot showers, a fully stocked kitchen, living room with fireplace and TV, complimentary coffee, tea ping pong, air hockey, games and our book library. There’s plenty of space for luggage and outdoor gear, plus ski and trekking pole storage and boot dryers. Outside, enjoy our large fire pit, BBQ grill, cabana and two-acre property. Whether you’re here for work, the mountains, fall foliage or simply passing through, you’ll have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Guest access The Wilderness Bunkhouse is a shared 16-bed sleeping space, so you may be staying alongside other Roadhouse guests. Your individual bunk is your personal space, while the bunkhouse, bathrooms, kitchen, living room and other common areas are shared. We simply ask everyone to be considerate of fellow guests, respect personal belongings and observe quiet hours between 9:30-7:00am Other things to note Check-in is between 3:00–6:00 PM. Please message us with your approximate arrival time and let us know in advance if you’ll be arriving outside those hours. NOTE - NO ARRIVALS IN THE BUNKHOUSE AFTER 9:00 PM.
