Cross House East - Cottage by the Beach

Cross House East is available to rent throughout the year. During peak period, our minimum stay is 6 nights and between 2 Saturdays. If we have availability, we welcome guests for late-availability short breaks. Please message us to ask if you aren't able to instant book. Outside of peak season (May to September) we accept short breaks. Normally our calendar opens 3 months before arrival but contact us directly about dates outwith those times and we'll do what we can for you. The space We supply all essentials such as cooking oils and spices along with teas and coffees for your entire stay. There is also bubble bath and shower gel. The central heating provides constant hot water. The house is set for 6 guests with bedding and towels. If your party is slightly bigger - or if you have visiting friends, we can supply a folding bed along with bedding and extra towels. The charge for this is £35 per person. There is a wood burning stove in the open plan sitting room/kitchen/dining area with large bifold doors out into the garden. At the front of the house you are metres 150m away from the sea with no road in-between. The bedrooms are all spacious with comfortable beds. Two bedrooms are downstairs and one upstairs with ensuite. We supply fresh linen and towels. Downstairs there is a family bathroom with a free-standing bath and a large shower. Guest access We are metres from the beach which is safe with shallow water. It is a short walk across the grassy plain to the water's edge. Nearby, Bridgend is in the centre of the island and there is a grocery store there along with a hotel and restaurant. Bowmore, the main village, is only 5 miles away. There is a supermarket, restaurants and cafes, a post office and some gift shops. It is also the home of the famous Bowmore Distillery. All the distilleries are within easy reach of the house and many can be reached by public transport. Other things to note We accept well-behaved dogs for a small charge of £25. This will be payable on arrival.
