This is not just a room, this is an experience! You will be staying at the vibrant Women’s Education and Economic Center (NGO). The funds generated from the room will be directed towards supporting the center, and you'll have the advantage of residing conveniently adjacent to our office. The space The rooms are basic but cosy with handmade furniture combined with African fabrics. The four beds are comfy and have mosquito netting. Our accommodation has a total of four bedrooms with each their own private bathroom, one of the rooms is a double bedroom. The kitchen comes fully equipped with hobs, an oven, a fridge, knives, a kettle, a toaster, and a blender. Both the dining and living rooms offer a lot of space, with large tables that encourage communal dining experiences. PS: From the WEECE office you can enjoy the beauty of Mount Kilimanjaro. Guest access We love to interact with our guests and show them our center! Our center is supported by a dedicated team: Nancy, our general secretary; Margareth and Liston, our project managers; Iyvonne and Rose, our teachers; and myself as the director. Additionally, we welcome occasional volunteers from abroad. Lunchtime is often a communal affair, to which you are welcome to participate. Despite this, the center maintains a comfortable, uncrowded environment, ensuring you can enjoy your tranquility. Should you wish to have some personal moments, rest assured, your preference is absolutely respected, aligning with our ultimate goal of ensuring your happiness. Other things to note ALL proceeds are used to support the NGO, that supports women and young girls in the Kilimanjaro region. We work to provide economic relief to women in impoverished communities, helping them get organized, financed, and grow more confident. We also offer WIFI for a small fee.
