Our small family run guesthouse is located near the ancient city of Sighisoara. It is surrounded by the glorious Transylvanian landscape of hills, forest and Vineyards. Boutique Hotel Le Baron is an idyllic hideaway place where explorers, couples, families as well as wellness-seekers can settle and enjoy an outstanding authentic surrounding. We are strongly focused on offering the best local products by growing vegetables, fruits & herbs on site in our organic-certified garden. The space The room is located in a beautiful mansion, which was built in the early 19th century in a tiny Hungarian village with about 2000 habitants. We have 9 individually designed guest rooms, which we offer to visitors all year round. We have our own restaurant only a few meters away from the mansion, where we serve all kinds of traditional Romanian meals to our guests. Breakfast at the restaurant (during season outside on the terrace) is included in the room rate. A few years back we decided to get our small-scale ground certified for organic farming. Today we are proud to offer our guests’ self-grown organic vegetables, fruits and herbs from our garden. We also produce our own wine and organize wine tastings in our wine cellar. Guest access Our large garden area is a common space and is shared with our other guests. We have a big swimming pool, a Jacuzzi (in between fruit trees), an outdoor shower and two beautiful pergolas in the upper garden that can be used free of charge. There is a 1.5 km walkway through our garden, where hundreds of fruit trees (such as apple, pear, cherry, apricot, plum, etc.) are planted and fruits can be picked and eaten during the season. Other things to note We offer a wide range of different tours & activities such as: horse-carriage rides, 4x4 off-road tours with ATVs/quads, guided visits of medieval sights and remote villages, scenic pick-nicks in the nature, outdoor massages and much more!
