In the immediate vicinity of particular interest are: - the cave of Santa Barbara, also known as "the Cathedral", discovered by chance in the early 1900s by the miners of the San Giovanni Mine, where it is located; - the nuragic complex of Seruci, one of the largest in Sardinia. Appreciable during the evenings where it hosts musical events or yoga classes at sunset; - the mining villages "Asproni" and "Normann", immersed in the hills of Gonnesa and can be visited along the Santa Barbara path.
