Jonkmanshof is a beautifully-restored Cape Dutch heritage house built in 1854 in the small, picturesque town of Montagu. It is the oldest inhabited house in the town. Jonkmanshof - 20 Bath was recently featured by Condé Nast Traveller as the coolest farmhouse to rent in South Africa and is also featured in the Elle Decoration, France. The space The house only has 2 luxury bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and provides privacy and the experience to stay in a 1854 heritage house. Guest access Guests have access to the library that’s stocked with magazines and books, the comfortable lounge with a wood burning fireplace for the cold winters, the large kitchen and dining room that leads to the beautiful succulent greenhouse. There is a large private garden filled with citrus trees and a swimming pool. During your stay We are always available but respect the privacy of our guests Other things to note There are rescue tortoises that roam the garden and sometimes we let the chickens have a run around the garden as well.
