"Hunsrück Valley View" Holiday Home with SAUNA

A two-bedroom stylish and comfortable holiday apartment for up to four, with a terrace and picture-perfect view of the valley and mountains below. A cedar barrel sauna is available (at extra cost). The entire apartment was renovated in March 2024, including a new sauna oven (it gets really, really hot now), acoustic paneling, new kitchen with Bosch appliances (oven, dishwasher), rain-water shower, a washing machine with dryer, and new beds. You can also visit our herd of Scottish Highlanders! The space Offering a dramatic panoramic view of the valley below, this private holiday apartment is the perfect place to rejuvenate. At the "Hunsrück Valley View," you can enjoy the region's mesmerizing natural surroundings in style and comfort. With two bedrooms, luxury bathroom, and large kitchen/living room area, and outside terrace, the apartment also has a cedarwood SAUNA (extra fee). Hiking opportunities abound in Bruschied, which is located in the idyllic Hunsrück countryside (near Frankfurt). The apartment is located in the souterrain/walk-out basement of a large single-family home with a panoramic view of the valley. The architecture is contemporary, combining modernist German and Japanese elements. The west-facing apartment is flooded with light during the day and offers a dramatic view of the sunset in the evening. It has high ceilings (2.5 meters) and a large window in the main living area leading out to your private terrace. You enter the apartment from the side through a private entrance. You can hang up your coat and store your shoes in the built-in closet before entering the main living area, which includes both the living room and the kitchen/dining room. The living area features a stylish leather sofa and a 43" 4K TV with free access to Netflix and Amazon Prime. The adjacent kitchen is equipped with a large stovetop, sink, and microwave as well as a Nespresso coffee maker and tea kettle. The wooden dining table overlooks the valley through the large floor-to-ceiling window. From the living/kitchen area, the hallway leads to two small bedrooms and a large luxury bathroom. The larger of the two bedrooms has a double bed with chest of drawers, and the smaller room has a single bed, dresser, and table (and the possibility of another fold-out bed with memory foam). The imported English bedding is lush cotton sateen and each bed has several fluffy pillows. Please note that while the bedrooms have large windows, they do only get indirect light, as the deck for the main house is built over this room. The large bathroom has a beautiful sink and mirror and fluffy towels. Guest access Guests have access to the entire private 2-bedroom apartment, including the private terrace outside of the apartment. In the summer, this area is equipped with a table and chairs, as well as other seating and sun loungers. Guests may also use the Cedarwood sauna in the backyard (extra fee). The first use costs 20€ (including towels) and each subsequent use is 10€. Other things to note We are animal lovers (we have two housecats - a Turkish Angora and a Maine Coon/Ragdoll mix) and welcome guests with pets. We do ask that guests take their dogs outside of our yard to use the bathroom - there are empty fields right outside of our property where dogs can run freely. This is because in the summer, we have a robotic lawn mower, so our lawn needs to be free of dog waste. We kindly ask that you refrain from smoking in the apartment. Guests may smoke on the terrace outside.
