Free on street parking. The space Welcome to our fully furnished one bedroom apartment in the heart of Ditmas Park, Brooklyn. Brooklyn is our hometown and Ditmas Park is truly our favorite place, we are so excited to share this special neighborhood with visitors like you! Our newly remodeled garden apartment is down a few steps and features a modern retro design and amenities to make your stay easy and comfortable. This is apartment is located on a quiet, residential, tree-lined street. It is on the garden level of a large main house. We are located just a short subway ride from most of Brooklyn's main attractions including: Barclays Center, Brooklyn Museum of Art, Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, Prospect Park, Coney Island/Brighton Beach and more! Manhattan is also close by. We're only a 25minute subway ride to the Downtown area, and just a 2-minute walk to the nearest subway line (with easy transfers to all other parts of NYC.) The apartment is a cool getaway from summer heat with A/C and just as cozy in the winter. The full kitchen is ready for those who want to cook for themselves, or there are also tons of great restaurants nearby to visit or order-in from. Our Airbnb includes all of the following: ROKU flat screen tv, wi-fi, your own private entrance, full kitchen and full bathroom with a bathtub/shower. Open kitchen and living area with 3 windows, fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans. We also provide a Keurig coffee maker as well as coffee and tea options for your morning caffeine fix or bedtime cuppa tea. Other amenities include: microwave, electric kettle, electric stove with oven, full Big Chill fridge and dining table for four. The living room features two comfy Joybird sofas. These sofas each sleep one - they pull out into two separate TWIN sofa beds. Apartment sleeps four total (Two in bedroom in Queen Bed; Two in the twin sofa beds in the living room.) Guest access Aside from your apartment there is a small outdoor patio shared with the main house in the back that you are welcome to use. Other things to note This is a garden unit down a few stairs with low ceilings - approx. 7ft. throughout with one 6ft. ceiling height by kitchen. Please be aware of this if you or someone in your group is on the taller side :) Maximum of 4 guests permitted. We are located on an overall very quiet, residential, dead-end street. While past guests have said their stay with us was quiet, it's important to keep in mind that we are near a subway line and in the middle of a bustling city. The apartment is also located in a 110-year old house with some creaks and noises from the folks living above. Our location is much quieter than most other areas of NYC, but light sleepers may be disturbed by possible subway or car sounds at night. Please plan accordingly when planning your trip to any major metropolitan area. Free On-street parking is available. We are not equipped for infants and cribs. The bedroom has an extra large window which doubles as an emergency door exit.
