Home in Samkow

For rent is a cozy, small room in a half of an old farmhouse. The house is very quietly situated in a romantic garden, not far from Lübeck, the Baltic Sea and the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve. The room is in the living area of the hosts. Kitchen and bathroom are shared, as in a shared apartment. The space The room is on the 2nd floor and faces east with morning sun and views of an old walnut tree, as well as over meadows and fields. Next door are the hosts' bedrooms. The corresponding and very spacious bathroom with bath and shower is on the first floor. In the room is a double bed (1.40 × 2 m), comfortable seating, table, shelf and a closet. The decor is simple, loving and colorful. The ambiance is relaxed and very quiet. The house is more than 100 years old and the traces of age are visible in some places. There are some cracks in the wall and cobwebs cannot be avoided. If you don't mind that and who also likes it a bit imperfect, you will find here a romantic spot with a lot of peace, originality and rural flair. In winter, heating can be provided by a gas central heating system or by various stoves (clay stove, stove). There is plenty of space and very nice animals (3 sheep, a couple of chickens, 1 cat and 1 dog). The garden with its numerous, sometimes very romantic seating areas, as well as a fireplace may be used. The large, cozy kitchen can also be used. The hostess, her son (16) and the very sweet and cheerful mixed-breed dog Peppi still live in the house. Cat Lilly is always inside and outside. On the spacious property there are still two construction trailers, which are sometimes occupied on weekends and now and then during the holidays by the very nice owners, who then also share the bathroom. The hostess and son also have their own bathroom. Guest access As already mentioned above, the spacious kitchen and a large, very nice garden with old fruit trees can be shared. During your stay As far as my part-time job and evening obligations allow, I am happy to be available as a contact person and to give tips for excursions and events in the area. Other things to note The dirt road (about 300 m) has some bumps, so please drive slowly!
