Dairy Cottage is one of the original farm cottages in a quiet corner of the farmyard on our beautiful 16th century farm. Longer stays available on request. The farm is at the end of a quiet country lane in the middle of its own land in the heart of Mid Sussex. The village of Cuckfield is appx one mile by road. A footpath runs directly to the village from the farm through beautiful countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Cuckfield has a good selection of shops, Pubs and restaurants The space Dairy cottage has one bedroom with a big comfy 5 foot double bed. The sofa bed in the open plan lounge converts into a small double bed if required. It is suitable for children or two small adults, but it may be slightly too small for two full size adults. The cottage is situated on the edge of the old Tudor farmyard overlooking adjacent paddocks and beautiful countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The cottage is self catering, clean towel's and linen are provided once a week and there is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the nearby barn available for guests to use. It has its own private enclosed garden with outside table and chairs. The parking space for the cottage is a few yards from the front door. Longer stays are available on request. There are many public footpaths from the farm that lead in all directions through countryside designated an area of outstanding natural beauty. Guests bringing a dog should be aware that dogs must be kept on a lead in the farm yard and when walking through any field containing livestock especially sheep, cattle and horses. There are plenty of footpaths and open space nearby for dogs to walk off the lead so please ask for directions. The pretty village of Cuckfield is just under a mile away and can be reached by footpath directly from the farm while enjoying stunning views over Mid Sussex. The drive to the village takes about 5 min by car. We live and work on the farm and will be pleased to help with directions and information on local attractions, Pubs , restaurant's and shops.
