A place designed for unwinding and recharging The 100 m² gîte is attached to an 18th-century Toulouse-style house, located in the heart of the countryside, a 2-hectare haven nestled between the hills of the Gers and the magnificent Pyrenees mountain range. Here, time stands still. Nature and authenticity come together in a place steeped in history. The Briquèterie du QUEROM invites you to discover spaces conducive to relaxation and leisure, to enjoy wonderful moments and reconnect with what matters most. The space Nestled in the heart of the countryside A house full of charm and history Upon arrival, you will discover the remains of the old brickworks, which was used as a tileworks for many years. The gîte, housed in an 18th-century Toulouse-style house, has retained all its authenticity as well as traces of its history. You will have the entire 100 m² cottage to yourselves, fully air-conditioned and dedicated to your stay. On the ground floor, you will find a pleasant living room with dining area and kitchen, as well as a recreation area with a pool table and dartboard. A utility room with toilet and washing machine completes this level. Upstairs, a spacious relaxation area awaits you. There you will find a large screen with a video projector for enjoying movie nights, musical instruments, board games, books, as well as yoga mats and a massage table (towel required). The comfortable sofa can also be converted to create two additional 90 cm beds, ideal for accommodating children or friends (maximum 2 people). This area gives access to an elegant and spacious master bedroom (160 cm bed) including a walk-in shower, storage and hangers, two bathrobes, and a mosquito net. An outdoor area designed for unwinding The cottage is set in the heart of 2 hectares of nature, where you can stroll freely and discover various spaces conducive to relaxation and conviviality. A wood, a pond, an ornamental pool, relaxation areas, viewpoints overlooking the hills of the Gers and the Pyrenees mountain range (depending on the weather), and sometimes even a few wild visitors: if you're lucky, you might spot roe deer and does coming to feed in the meadows. You will also meet our animals: our mischievous Shiba Inu, Natsu; our spirited cat, July; and our three hens, Blanchette, Grisette and Panache, who may provide you with some fresh eggs to collect directly from their nesting boxes. The ZEN Island For a truly relaxing escape, our Zen Island awaits you. Located on a wooden terrace in the middle of nature, it includes: a sauna; a Nordic bubble bath; a space conducive to yoga and meditation. In the evening, make yourself comfortable and admire the sunset through the treetops and, a little later, the beauty of the starry sky (weather permitting). For an even more exceptional stay, feel free to ask for information about wellness treatments and massages or sound journeys offered on site by Jessica, a wellness coach. A space for fun and togetherness A few steps from the cottage, the Maison du Bouc, a former outbuilding converted into an outdoor kitchen, will allow you to fully enjoy the fine weather in a green setting. For young and old, many activities are available on site: Outdoor games with swings for children, ping-pong, foosball, archery, axe throwing, zip line, and CrossFit area, slackline with a view of the pond. Enough to spend whole days on site without ever getting bored! You are asked to leave the accommodation in the same condition as when you checked in. Outdoor smoking areas, terrace of the vacation rental, terrace of the ZEN island. Please protect nature and avoid any risk of fire. Two dry toilets are available outside. Waste recycling, waste sorting, compost available All shops and amenities are a 6-minute drive away in the village of Rieumes. Additional services based on your needs (to be paid on site): - Private, unlimited access to the ZEN islet is €50 per night for the duration of your stay (customized offer for long stays of more than 7 nights). The Nordic bath and sauna in the ZEN islet are wood-heated. This way, the wood from the property is put to good use, and we take the time to do things mindfully. As with a hot tub, you can activate the bubbles and the lighting. Upon your arrival, the water will be at the ideal temperature. All you have to do is feed it with the firewood provided to maintain the desired temperature and turn on the sauna (heating time: 1 hour). We immediately fell in love with this place. Here, nature reigns supreme, the fauna and flora are preserved, and the pace of everyday life naturally slows down. This is a place where you come to unwind, take your time, reconnect with yourself, and enjoy the simple things. And today, we are happy to be able to open its doors to you. Just a 2-minute drive away, you can enjoy the vast municipal forest of Rieumes. About 5 minutes away, younger guests can discover the Ferme du Paradis or enjoy Tépacap.
