Double room in friendly Easton in Central Bristol
Double room in friendly Easton in Central Bristol
Description
Double room in the friendly neighbourhood of Easton. Walking distance from central Bristol and close to Stapleton Road train station which takes you anywhere in Bristol, including Filton (1 stop). Easton is a great area with fantastic local shops, pubs and restaurants. We're also close to St Werberg's, Old Market and the Bristol-Bath cycle path. To avoid wasting food we don't provide breakfast but you can use the kitchen facilities and you're welcome to use the tea, coffee, oils, spices etc. The space Early 20th century terraced house with high ceilings and period features. In a friendly and characterful neighbourhood with nice local shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Short walk to St Werberg's, St Paul's, Old Market and the city centre. Guest access Access to shared bathroom, kitchen, dining area, lounge and garden. During your stay I'm currently working and living in London hence renting out my bedroom. However, my 81 year old dad, Mike (local legend) lives in the house and will be delighted to tell you about the local community dinners and bands at local pubs. If you have any issues, please just message or call me. Other things to note As you can see from the photos, the kitchen/dining room and the garden are a work in progress, so please do not book if you want to stay somewhere pristine and perfectly finished! I am letting out my bedroom while I'm working in London. I still have some belongings in the room but you will have a big cupboard with drawers (the one in the alcove to the right of the sunflowers picture) and there's lits of hanging space in the wardrobe. My 81 year old dad - Mike - also lives at the property full time and he is not the tidiest person in the world. However, he will gladly answer any questions, particularly around where to go out in the area. Dad's a regular at the local community dinners and at trad jazz at the Chelsea Inn. To avoid wasting food we don't provide breakfast but you can use the kitchen facilities and you're welcome to help yourself to the tea, coffee, oils, spices etc, just ask dad if you can't find what you need, we're fairly well stocked.
