Family-friendly wooden house in Bogel near Loreley

Description

Quiet, renovated wooden house on a fully fenced property in Bogel. Two separate bedrooms and plenty of family-friendly amenities: child's bed and extra bed, changing table with baby bathtub, high chair, sandbox and mud kitchen. Veranda, kitchen, washing machine and self check-in. Nastätten, with shops, is about 7 minutes away by car. Couples, tradespeople and small groups are also welcome. The house can accommodate 4 adults. Wi-Fi and TV available. The space The wooden house, which is about 60 m² in size, is a true forest house: older, renovated about a year ago, clean, cozy and deliberately furnished in a more rustic than luxurious style. It is quiet and private, located on a fully fenced property surrounded by greenery. We focus especially on families with babies and small children. Couples, small groups, tradespeople and business travelers are also welcome. The spaces The property includes: - Two separate bedrooms - A living area with open kitchen - Separate toilet - Separate shower - Small laundry room with washing machine and sink - Veranda - Garden and outdoor area on several levels - Fully fenced property The house has four regular sleeping places in two separate bedrooms. Main bedroom In the master bedroom, there is a double bed with a 1.60 × 2.00 m continuous mattress – i.e., without split mattresses or a gap in the middle. In addition, there is a cot and a small side bed here. The cot can be attached directly to the parents' bed, so that babies or toddlers can sleep right next to their parents. An additional bed rail for the large bed can be provided upon request. A large wardrobe provides ample storage space, even for longer stays. Second bedroom The second bedroom has a double bed measuring 1.40 × 2.00 m with a single-piece mattress. There is also a changing table with a baby bathtub and a large wardrobe. In addition, a baby travel bed is available. If you would like to come with more than four people, including infants or toddlers, please contact us beforehand. The additional sleeping options are primarily intended for children. Especially for families with small children We want to offer families as much of the typical baby equipment as possible on site so that they don't have to bring everything with them. The available equipment includes: - Crib - A bed sidecar that can be attached to the parents' bed - Baby travel crib - Bed rail on request - Changing table - Baby bath - High chair - Step stool for the washbasin - Child safety covers on electrical outlets - Safety locks on various cabinets - Safety gate in front of the wood-burning stove - Toys There are also amenities for children in the outdoor area. There is currently a sandpit and a mud kitchen available there. We would like to gradually add more family and play equipment. Please note: Although the property is completely fenced, it is on a slope and consists of several levels with stairs. Small children should therefore always be supervised outside. Kitchen and living area The living area and kitchen are openly connected. The kitchen is equipped for normal self-catering and includes, among other things: - Stove - Oven - Fridge with freezer compartment - Dishwasher - Coffee maker - Dishes - Cookware and standard kitchen utensils Oil, salt and pepper are provided as basic cooking supplies. Other groceries, coffee and other consumables are not guaranteed to be provided and should be brought along or purchased locally. Shops in Nastätten are a few minutes' drive away. Linens, towels and laundry Bed linens, sheets and towels are provided and included in the stay. Cleaning products are also available. There is a washing machine and sink in the separate small laundry room. There is also a place to hang laundry. This means that less clothing needs to be brought along, especially for families and longer stays. TV and internet Wi-Fi and TV are available. Heating The house is heated by a wood-burning stove, among other things. For small children, there is a safety gate in front of the stove. In the colder months, electric radiators are also available. From October to March, we provide a starter pack of firewood upon arrival. Additional firewood can be bought in stores if needed. Wood from the surrounding forest may not be collected or used. Outdoor Area The house has a veranda as well as a private garden and outdoor area surrounded by greenery. The premises are completely fenced in and offer great privacy. Due to the forest location and the few permanently inhabited houses in the immediate vicinity, it is extremely quiet here. For children, there is a sandpit and a mud kitchen outside. An electric grill is also available. The property is located on a hillside and consists of several levels. There are stairs to the house and within the property. The property is therefore not accessible. Bathroom, shower and toilet The shower and toilet are separate from each other and each is compact and functionally equipped. The separation of the spaces is especially convenient when there are multiple guests. What to expect We are not a luxury resort and do not want to present the house as such. You will have a clean, cozy and renovated wooden house on its own, fully fenced woodland property – with two proper bedrooms, full-size mattresses, a kitchen, a washing machine, a porch and an unusually extensive range of amenities for families with babies and young children. If you are primarily looking for peace, nature, and privacy and would prefer your own little house in the woods to an apartment or a hotel room, then you have come to the right place. Guest access Free parking is available right in front of or above the property along the curb. The house is on a slope. From the parking lot, a staircase or a path leads downhill to the house. Guests should therefore be able to manage stairs and differences in height without difficulty. The accommodation has private access and is designed for self check-in. During your stay, you will have private use of the house, porch and the designated outdoor area. There is hardly any direct neighborhood; the few surrounding houses are also not used for a large part of the year. Other things to note The wooden house is located directly in the forest and has some special features that you should be aware of before booking. Heating and firewood The house does not have central heating. From April to the end of September, the living area is heated exclusively with the wood-burning stove if necessary. Firewood is not included in the overnight price during that period and must be brought with you or purchased on site if needed. From October to the end of March, additional electric radiators and air conditioning with a heating function are available. Upon arrival, we provide a small starter quantity of firewood. You must procure additional wood yourself if needed. Wood may not be taken from the property or from the surrounding forest. Forest location The immediate forest location is a big part of the special character of the property. Nature is indeed a part of this place: Occasionally, insects can get into the house, or animals can be heard around the house or on the roof. Please use the windows with fly screens for ventilation as much as possible and do not leave the front door open longer than necessary. Children and hillside location The property is completely fenced, and the house has various child safety features. Please note, however, that due to its hillside location, the property is not suitable for small children to play unattended. The garden, porch and access paths are on different levels and are partly connected by stairs. Children should therefore always be supervised outside. Fire, grilling and smoking Due to the immediate proximity to the forest, open fires and open flames are strictly prohibited all over the outdoor area. In particular, campfires, fire bowls, fire baskets, candles and torches in the outdoor area as well as charcoal grills, gas grills and other grills or fireplaces with a flame or embers are not permitted. Grilling is only allowed with the electric grill provided by us. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house. Smoking is allowed outside. Ashtrays are available for this purpose. Cigarettes must be completely extinguished and disposed of exclusively in the designated ashtrays. Cigarette butts may not be discarded on the premises or in the surrounding forest. Peace and consideration No pets, parties or events are allowed. The house is situated in a very quiet forest and vacation home location. Please be especially considerate of the surroundings in the evening and at night. From 10pm, quiet rules apply at night. Character and accessibility The house is an older, renovated wooden house with the typical character of a vacation home in the forest. The immediate forest location, the special heating concept, the hillside location and the compact room layout are all part of the property. The property and the house are not accessible due to the stairs and differences in height.
