Lake Escape – 90 km from Berlin, deck+sauna

Just 90 km from Berlin, your getaway awaits right on Lake Moryner, in the heart of a nature reserve: a stylish 120-m² architects house with spectacular lake views from every room, direct access to the water, a dock, and a outdoor sauna. Wake up in the morning to a view of the water, head out onto the lake right from the property, and unwind in the sauna in the evening—here, it’s all about peace, nature, and spending time together. Fortunately, motorboats are prohibited on the lake. ;) The space The single family house accommodates up to 6 adults only rented out as a whole house (no hotel services). It features 3 bedrooms, a spacious spa-style bathroom, and two separate restrooms—ideal for families, friends, couples, or a group workation. All rooms and the bathroom are connected by large sliding doors, allowing you to divide or combine the spaces as you wish. This provides you with great views during the day while still offering the privacy you need. Bedroom 3 is a duplex bedroom and is connected to the master bedroom (see pictures). Outside, you’ll find two terraces and a spacious garden with lovingly landscaped perennial beds. A staircase leads directly to the dock. SUPs and a canoe are available for excursions on the lake. You can also explore the surrounding area wonderfully on land: bicycles are available to rent at the house. Right outside the door runs the long-distance bike path along the former railroad right-of-way, over the Europa Bridge, and through the Oderbruch region all the way to Wriezen. For a day trip to Szczecin, head to the nearby Witnica Chojeńska train station. From there, you’ll reach Szczecin in about an hour. The terraces and access to the water are arranged so that everyone has plenty of privacy... Directions from Berlin: (1) By car via Route 158 and Hohenwutzen in approx. 1:45 (2) by train and bike via Wriezen and the long-distance bike path across the Europa Bridge (3) via Schwedt (we’d be happy to arrange an affordable pickup from the train station for you) From Schwedt: 30 min by car From Szczecin: 90 min by car or 60 min by train to Witnica Chojeńska Guest access We are flexible with the check-in. Please inform us when you arrive and we will organise everything. Other things to note The house is equipped with speed badminton rackets, Viking chess, boules, yoga mats... there’s plenty you can do outdoors. You’re also welcome to use our trampoline, canoe, or SUPs (please let us know in advance). If you’d like to borrow bicycles, we’ll be happy to help. Use of all sports equipment is at your own risk. Firewood One basket of firewood is included; each additional basket costs 10 EUR. Sauna Use The sauna is shared by both accommodations (Villa & Bungalow). Times are arranged so that you will always have the sauna all to yourselves. Access to the sauna costs a one-time fee of 40 € for everyone for the entire stay. Registration & Tourist Tax Every guest must pay a tourist tax (approx. 0.30 ct/day/person), and to do so, you must fill out a tax form on the day of arrival. You’ll find this form in the house. Additional guests on the property and in the house are permitted only by prior arrangement. We are renting out the house only for living purposes.
