Conveniently off highway 160 and the perfect get away to the Sand Dunes, Lathrop state park, fishing, golfing, hiking, skiing, snowboarding & pet friendly. The space Unique family home of 4 on 50 acres, with a private guest suite. My brother designed and built our home with my father, for my family to retire in and relax. We have Gorgeous Mountain views wild horses, antelope and more wildlife to see. We are located 7 miles out of town on River ridge ranch with the best views of the Spanish Peaks and Sangre de Cristo mountain range. Guest access You have access to your private suite area and patio area. You also have access to a shared covered porch all day, if you want to BBQ just let me know and I will get you the tools to use the BBQ. You also have a sitting area outside your room to enjoy the stars and views of the mountain range and watching the wild horses and antelope & other wild life. Other things to note Wild horses do travel through the property to get some water, we have a watering trough for them. So you may see them wandering through the property at all times of the day. During big winter storms, we can get snowdrifts in the area, you may want to contact me to make sure the roads are good. Pets are welcome we have a fenced area for them to play. Things to do in the area: Golfing, fishing, hiking, Lathrop State Park lake, The great sand dunes, bishop’s castle, skiing, sledding and snowboarding at Cuchara Mountain park.
