The Bomo Perch on Lake Bomoseen offers 3 bedrooms and panoramic views on 156' of private Vermont shoreline. Looking due west, you are invited to kayak, swim, fish, and lounge while taking in the best sunsets on the lake. Featuring decks, firepit, outdoor dining and swimming area, you wont want to go inside! Every room has an expansive view and the home is anchored by an open living, dining and kitchen space. Comforts for longer stays- high speed internet, smart tv, workspace, and full laundry. The cottage is approximately 1,100 sq ft and provides a perfect balance of open space and privacy along with multiple outdoor options. Work from home at the 2nd floor bedroom desk, or choose to enjoy your coffee with the big deck views. The design of the home puts the lake and mountains on center stage from every angle. The compact kitchen is very efficient with a wall oven, cook top, fridge, icemaker, and microwave. The large indoor dining table is perfect for gathering the whole family or game nights. The cozy living room offers a large smart tv. The Comcast internet is fast and reliable. Well behaved pets are considered for an additional cleaning fee. There are two kayaks available for your use. The entire property including the cottage, ample parking, decks, and swim area. The home is located in the quaint summer town of Lake Bomoseen. The Lake House Pub and Grill is an easy to walk for a quick drink or bite. Just down the road are numerous dining options and key conveniences with stores in the college town of Castleton. Time on the lake garners the most attention but great hiking, live music, golf, farmers markets, shops and other major attractions and areas to explore exist nearby. Our custom local guide book will be delivered before your stay. The home and yard are very private despite being just off of route 30. The road can be busy at times. There is generous parking for multiple cars (and a boat trailer if needed) and a short stone stairway with railing leads to the house. One level living is possible and the indoor space opens right to the deck for easy outdoor enjoyment. The outdoor spaces and small lawn are set on a cliff above the lake level so children should be well supervised. The lake deck and swimming area is accessible from the south end of the property and down a short set of stairs. The deck area is wonderful for swimming, and easy boat passenger pick-up, but we are not currently equipped for extended or overnight docking of boats at this time. If renting a boat, the Marina is easily accessible via a short drive daily, and there are a couple of nearby public boat launches.
