The space Welcome to Big Bear Lodge, your rustic and spacious 2,200 sq. ft. lakefront retreat on the shores of Vaughn Lake in Glennie! This cozy, bear-themed knotty pine lodge is the perfect three-story escape for fishermen, families, and adventure seekers. Start your mornings with stunning sunrise views over the lake from the third-floor balcony, where you can relax on the hammock. The first floor features a spacious, open-plan living area with a wood-burning fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining space perfect for gathering together. The third-floor loft is a fantastic family hangout with a flat-screen TV and endless movies. With direct beach access, you can spend your afternoons fishing, paddling in the provided kayaks, or watching the kids splash near the water. Sleeping Arrangements: Bedroom 1 (2nd Floor): Queen bed with private entrance to the balcony. Bedroom 2 (2nd Floor): Queen bed with private entrance to the balcony. Bedroom 3 (2nd Floor): Queen bed with private entrance to the balcony. Loft (3rd Floor): Six twin beds and a futon. Living Area (1st Floor): One futon for additional sleeping. Key Amenities: Waterfront with beach and lake access Fully equipped kitchen with Keurig (coffee & tea provided) Wi-Fi and a dedicated desk area for remote work Two Smart TVs with Netflix and Dish Network/Direct TV Wood-burning fireplace and outdoor fire pit Washer and dryer Family-friendly: High chair and pack-n-play available BBQ grill (guests must bring their own propane) Kayaks and life jackets Guest access Guests will have private access to the entire 2,200 sq. ft. home and its three stories of patio seating. This includes all bedrooms, living areas, the kitchen, and bathrooms. You also have full access to the 2-car garage and driveway for parking. The only exception is one locked owner's room accessible from the garage on the second floor, which is not available to guests. Other things to note Starter Supplies: We provide a starter kit of 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 2 rolls of paper towels, and 2 garbage bags to get you started. Septic System: The home is on a septic field. To prevent issues, please space out showers and keep them brief. Air Conditioning: For your comfort, we have portable whole-room air conditioners on each floor. Propane for Grill: Please bring your own propane tank for the BBQ grill. Check-In/Out: Early check-ins may be accommodated if discussed in advance. Checking in the night before is subject to the full nightly rate. Owner's Closet: The room accessible from the garage on the second floor is for owner use only and will remain locked during your stay.
