Two cozy studios nestled on a private beach outside of town. The perfect quiet escape, featuring wifi, mosquito screens, and kayaks. Blue House has a queen-sized bed, private ensuite bathroom and kitchenette, with an ocean-facing front porch. Green house has a queen-sized bed, loft with a twin bed, private ensuite bathroom and kitchenette, with an ocean-facing front porch. *Car rentals, airport transfers and early check-in are available for an additional fee* The space In the Village of Talihau, Lucky's Beach Houses is a small beachside property with 5 accommodation units. There is snorkeling and kayaking available from the beach, but please bring your own snorkel equipment. At Lucky’s Beach Houses, we have only rainwater. Please be mindful of your usage. Here are some great ways to conserve water: • Turn off water while brushing teeth. • Take a sailor shower by getting wet, turning the water off, soaping up, and then turning the water on to rinse. • Do not rinse after every time you swim in the sea • Take one shower a day. • Use a bucket to rinse gear at the outside beach spicket. Each accommodation is equipped with an on-demand water heater. The water heater uses more water, so during times of drought or water conservation, the hot water pump may be turned off to conserve water. This would mean gravity-fed water in the showers that is not heated. This is rare. This makes us quiet and secluded, but guests should purchase supplies before heading to Talihau. It is recommended to arrange rental cars and taxi services prior to coming to Lucky's. We do not have a pickup site for whale boats as our bay is too shallow. Please plan on a rental car or taxi service to take you to a whale pickup location. There is a 2-night minimum stay. Bar soap, coffee, tea, and sugar are provided in each home. All other food, supplies, and hygiene items will need to be purchased in town before coming to Lucky's. We provide house towels only and you will need to bring your own beach towels. We only swap out towels and sheets for stays longer than a week. Tongan Law requires that most businesses are closed on Sundays and ocean activities are prohibited, so plan your stay accordingly. This can be a great day for rest and relaxation.
