Grange Los Bordes - Pyrenean Parenthèse

Welcome to Grange Los Bordes, an old stone and wood sheepfold that opens onto the valley and the Pyrenees. 13 km from Bagnères-de-Bigorre and 14 km from Lourdes, this 180 m² (1,937 sq. ft.) mountain house accommodates up to 7 people. We come here from May to October to get together with family or friends, enjoy the garden, go for a walk and just take our time. Beautiful family hikes are available nearby, while the major Pyrenees routes are about 45 minutes away. The space The heart of the house is its large living room under a high wooden frame, bright and cozy. It features a fully renovated and equipped kitchen, a large dining table, and a spacious living room with a wood-burning stove, a bookcase, music, and board games. On the garden level, there are 3 bedrooms with new bedding: • a large bedroom with 3 beds of 90 cm, two of which can be joined together • one bedroom with a queen-size bed and outside access • one bedroom with 2 90 cm beds The house has 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bathtub, 2 toilets, as well as a washing machine and a dryer. Linens and towels are provided. The house is surrounded by a large wooded plot with views of the mountains. Garden table and BBQ allow you to fully enjoy the sunny days. From Grange Los Bordes, you can choose between walks and family hikes nearby or go for a day trip to the great Pyrenean landscapes, which are accessible in about 45 minutes. And some days, the plan can simply be to stay at home, have lunch in the garden, and enjoy the calm and the view. A house to disconnect The house does not have Wi-Fi. It's also the spirit of Grange Los Bordes: enjoying the mountain, walking, reading, listening to music, playing, and rediscovering the pleasure of being together. NOTE: Grange Los Bordes is a renovated old sheepfold. Its traditional wooden floor contributes to its charm but does not offer the sound insulation of a modern building: noise travels between the two levels. Pets are allowed. The grounds are not fully enclosed. For the stove, a supply of firewood worth €120 is available. Only the wood consumed is charged upon departure, per quarter of the reserve: €30, €60, €90 or €120.
