2 Old School Cottages is charming semi-detached 3-bedroom former Edwardian school that has been sympathetically and beautifully converted, (retaining much of its Victorian charm), into a holiday home that enjoys a fabulous rural outlook to the rear. It is located on the edge of the desirable village of Wissett, near Halesworth. 2 well-behaved dogs are welcome. The space Step into the entrance hall with decorative tiled floor with staircase leading up to the part galleried landing. To the right is spacious lounge / dining room. An impressive room with high ceilings and large sash windows flooding the room with natural light making it feel very open, light and airy. There is plenty of comfortable seating with a 3-seater and 2-seater sofa and an armchair to relax in and watch your favourite films on the Sky Glass TV. There is a table and chairs to seat six guests. Should you need to work during your stay there is super fast wifi and a desk and chair for your comfort. There is a Villager log burner to snuggle up in front of on those chilly winter evenings. Logs and fire making materials are provided by the host. Doors lead out to the private garden at the rear of the property. The fully equipped kitchen has an electric hob and oven, full size fridge / freezer, dishwasher, washer / dryer, microwave, Grind stainless steel capsule coffee machine, toaster and kettle. A window looking out to the front brings in natural light. Stairs rise to the half landing with a window looking out to the front and bringing in lots of natural light, and up to the galleried landing with a Velux flooding the space with more natural light. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and the bathroom Each bed is hotel-quality and carefully chosen for exceptional comfort, dressed in luxurious French linen sheets for a beautifully soft, breathable feel and the ultimate night’s sleep Bedroom 1 Single bed (3"), bedside table, chest of drawers and some hanging space. There is travel cot with bedding if needed. A window looks out to the front Bedroom 2 Twin beds (2ft6) which can be made into a king on request (when booking), two bedside tables, chest of drawers and some hanging space. A large Velux window looks out to the fields and lets in lots of natural light. Bedroom 3 Master bedroom with a super-king bed, chest of drawers, a hanging rail, two bedside tables, a small dressing table and chairs. Picture windows look out onto the green at the side and along with two Velux windows, flood the room with natural light making it light and airy. The bathroom has a bath with a mixer tap and a shower attachment, WC, hand basin and heated towel rail. Outside there is a generous shingled parking area shared with No 3. Parking is strictly on the LEFT SIDE . The cottage has a small south-facing private garden to the rear that overlooks the gently undulating countryside beyond, and neighbouring paddocks and pastureland. Although the cottage is dog friendly, the garden is not enclosed, so is not secure for dogs off lead. There is a table and 2 reclining Adirondack chairs. Shared with No 3, there is also the former school playing field to the west side of the cottage that you have use of during your stay. This field is not fully enclosed
