The Lodge at Beaver Cottages (AA 4* rated) is within walking distance of Tintagel and the dog-friendly sandy beach at Trebarwith Strand. We are just two fields from the SWCP. There are pubs, shops, and restaurants in Tintagel along with the historic castle and stunning new bridge. Port Isaac, Boscastle, Bude, Padstow, and Bodmin Moor are only a short drive away. A great place for couples, solo adventurers, friends, families, and well-behaved clean pets. 2 bedrooms and sofabed in the lounge. The space 15-minute walk or 2-minute drive to Tintagel. 25-minute walk or 5-minute drive to Trebarwith Strand beach. A short drive to Boscastle, Port Isaac, Padstow, Polzeath, and Bude. Formerly part of an old Cornish lodging house, The Lodge is a self-contained two-bedroom cottage perfect for couples, families, or friends. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and ensuite (shower, toilet, and sink). Bedroom 2 can be configured as a twin room or super-king bed. It has an ensuite (toilet and sink). Downstairs you'll find the main bathroom (toilet, sink, shower). The Lodge has a fully equipped fitted kitchen, a dining room, a lounge with a double sofabed, a TV, and an enclosed garden with patio furniture. There are two off-road parking spaces on the driveway guests staying at The Lodge. A shared utility room is available with a washing machine and a freezer, plus body boards, wetsuits, and beach toys you may borrow. We also have another one-bedroom cottage (The Smithy) and a shepherd's hut (Cabin Beaver) available at Beaver Cottages for an additional cost, which can be used as extra bedrooms. Please note, although The Lodge is fully private, we live in the cottage next door, and other guests may be staying at The Smithy or in the shepherd's hut which are also located at Beaver Cottages. Please be respectful and keep noise to reasonable levels. Well-behaved, clean dogs are welcome - please keep them off the bed and sofa. The cottage enjoys countryside views, and a stile on the driveway takes you to the SWCP within minutes (just two fields away). Guest access The Lodge cottage and garden are for Lodge guests only. The laundry room is in an outbuilding a 10-second walk away and is shared with other guests. Other things to note Central heating is provided morning and evening. There are additional electric heaters should you need them. Bedding, towels, coffee, tea and a jug of milk are provided. There is a stile on the driveway which will take you over two fields to the SWCP. We recently became owners of Beaver Cottages (including The Lodge). Airbnb doesn't permit the transfer of listings between home owners, hence this brand new listing.
