Gingerbread cottage is a lovely spacious home from home with a ground floor en-suite bedroom and 2 first floor bedrooms and an upstairs bathroom. Approx 4 miles from York city centre and 1.5 miles from York racecourse. Free on street parking outside the cottage. It’s the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Yorkshire dales, Skipton and Ilkley or taking in the beautiful Yorkshire coastal towns of Whitby,Robin Hoods Bay, Scarborough and lovely market towns of Helmsley, Malton. The space Gingerbread cottage is the perfect home from home for exploring everything York has to offer. Only 4 miles from York city centre and 1.5 miles from York Racecourse. There’s a bus stop outside the house or take a leisurely walk into York. Bishopthorpe has 2 pubs and a social club! The Marcia and The Woodman both serve excellent food too. Next door to the cottage is a Co-op supermarket. What more could you need?! Bedroom 1 is on the ground floor with an en-suite bathroom with a newly fitted walk in shower with rainfall shower. Bedroom 2 and 3 are on the first floor and a full bathroom with bath and hand held shower. We also have a separate toilet on the ground floor. The Cottage is a nice walk to Naburn Marina where you will find the Waterfront Restaurant. The Rivwrfeont Bishopthorpe is a short walk from the house where you will find Bosuns Riverside Restaurant. The Archbishop of York lives in Bishopthorpe Palace which is very near the cottage. York Minster, The Bar Walls and Jorvik Viking Centre are just a few of the attractions in York City Centre. The house is a lovely family home from home. Free On street parking is available on Main Street in front of the cottage. There is no parking at the rear of the cottage as this belongs to our neighbours who require 24 hour access. Guest access Guests have access to all the house except the garage. Other things to note The house is in a very residential area and our neighbours are our friends so no loud noise and parties are permitted at any time.We have a ring doorbell fitted to the front of the house for extra security. There is no parking spaces at the rear of the property this belongs to our neighbours who require 24 hr access.
