With beautiful countryside walks right on the doorstep, it’s an idyllic place to slow down and enjoy the peace and quiet, while the historic Stonehenge is 6 miles away & Amesbury 3 miles. The space Follow the winding path through the garden and into the front door of this chocolate box cottage, where you’ll find a welcoming entrance hallway with space to leave your shoes and hang up your coats before settling in. The heart of the cottage is the bright and inviting open-plan lounge and dining room. With triple-aspect windows and garden views from the window seats, it’s a lovely space to relax and enjoy the changing seasons outside. Comfortable seating is arranged around the decorative fireplace, creating a cosy spot to settle down with a book or enjoy a film on the Smart TV. At the other end of the room, a beautiful oak dining table and chairs provide plenty of space for everyone to gather around for a leisurely meal, morning coffee or a family game. A selection of games can be found in the dresser for those slower-paced evenings when there’s nowhere else you need to be. From the dining area, the cottage flows through to the fully equipped kitchen, with everything you’ll need for a comfortable home-from-home stay. There’s a dishwasher and microwave alongside the usual kitchen essentials, making it just as easy to enjoy a relaxed breakfast as it is to prepare dinner together. A glazed door leads from the kitchen into the side porch, where the garden views continue and there is easy access outside. In warmer months, this makes the perfect spot for stepping straight out into the garden and enjoying meals al fresco. A cloakroom, conveniently located off the entrance hallway, completes the ground floor. Upstairs Head upstairs to the first bedroom, a wonderfully spacious room offering flexible sleeping arrangements with one double bed and one single bed, accommodating up to three guests. The room is bright and comfortable, with a cosy armchair positioned beside the rear window — the perfect place to sit with a morning coffee and enjoy the sunshine as the day begins. There is also hanging space for clothes, making this a practical and comfortable room for longer stays. Back in the hallway, you’ll find the family bathroom, complete with WC, basin and a full-size bath with shower over. A second staircase leads to the master bedroom — perhaps the gem of the cottage. With a king-size bed overlooking the picture-perfect garden, this is a wonderfully bright and peaceful room. The large windows make the most of the garden views, while ample storage ensures there’s plenty of room to unpack and settle in. A dressing table positioned overlooking the garden provides a lovely spot to get ready in the morning, with natural light streaming in through the window. Outside Outside, the garden is every bit as much a part of the cottage as the rooms inside. The lawn wraps around two sides of the cottage, bordered by flower beds which offer an ever-changing display of seasonal colour and wildflowers. There’s plenty of space to relax, wander and enjoy the garden at your own pace. A table and chairs provide the perfect setting for breakfast on the lawn, a lazy afternoon coffee or an evening meal outdoors when the weather allows. It’s the kind of garden where you can take your time — perhaps with a book, a drink or simply enjoying the peace and watching the seasons change around you. With its characterful cottage feel, bright and welcoming rooms and beautiful garden surroundings, this is a lovely place to slow down, switch off and enjoy a little taste of country life.
