St James Cottage - Warm and Cosy Period Home

The cottage is centrally located for access to Louth’s shops, Restaurants, Theatre and Museum, all a few minutes walk away. Many of the local organised walks depart from directly opposite the cottage The Lincolnshire Wolds AONB and the stunning Lincolnshire coastline are also nearby making the cottage an ideal base for your time in the area. The space The cottage is one of the original cottages built facing the famous St James in Louth. It's location in the heart of the conservation area means that everything is literally on your doorstep. My cottage has a lounge with TV and superfast Wi-Fi, leading to a hallway with kitchen and Bathroom off of this. There are two bedrooms on the first floor, up the typically steep stairs. The courtyard garden is to the rear of the property and is an ideal place to sit and relax after exploring the local area. Louth itself is a charming town that still retains many aspects lost in other towns of its size. There are a large number of restaurants, pubs and cafes as well as many independent shops selling excellent local produce. Louth market is held twice a week. Louth is ideally placed to explore this part of Lincolnshire. By car the following areas are easily accessible. Lincoln - 40mins Cleethorpes - 25mins Mablethorpe - 30mins Horncastle - 20mins Cadwell Park - 10mins Woodhall Spa - 30mins Louth was the winner of the BBC Countryfile Best Market Town recently and attracts large numbers of visitors throughout the year. Guest access Access to the property is via a code given to guests prior to their arrival, allowing guests to arrive at a time that is convenient to them. There is a car park on Bridge Street. Most of the streets around the cottage have unrestricted parking for visitors. Other things to note Please note : the property has one king size bed and another smaller bedroom containing two single beds. The property is really designed for two or three adults sharing or parties with children. We do not prevent bookings of 4 adults sharing the cottage, but please be aware of the small size of the second bedroom before making the decision to book. The property is very old with steep stairs which might be difficult for those with mobility issues. The property is located in the town centre and as such is in the heart of a thriving community with all that this entails.
