The Porthole has the coast lover in mind, comfortable and contemporary with sea views, ideally located at the end of a quiet road half way between the beach and Croyde village. A detached open plan house whose ground floor is perfect for a sociable holiday with a safely enclosed rear garden sun trap and shed storage. Each of the 3 bedrooms has its own bathroom facilities next door, and the kitchen is well equipped for those wanting a quiet night in. The space You know when you pull in to this private road it is a peaceful corner of Croyde village. Parking for 2 cars on the private drive and relax. Inside is a light filled open plan lounge, dining and well equipped kitchen with 2 big sofas with squidgy feather cushions and a TV and ultrafast broadband. Tasteful and calm. Patio doors open up on to the south facing private garden with decked and grassy areas. A picnic table, bench seating with additional deckchairs are ideal for relaxing in the sun. There are 3 bedrooms, 1 ensuite double downstairs, an ensuite double and a twin with bathroom next door upstairs both with TVs. A separate toilet opens to the downstairs hallway . A good nights sleep is key to a good holiday. White co Mattress toppers and linen; award winning soak and sleep pillows, feather and down duvets and blackout blinds help. The downstairs bedroom has poly duvet and pillows. The village with a variety of restaurants is just down the road if you fancy it. Join the footpath across the main road to wander down to the middle of the beach. Shed storage for bikes, boards, wetsuits etc. No towels, shampoo, body wash are provided. (This option wasn't given on Air B&B site so I'm adding it here). Unfortunately not suitable for the elderly and less mobile. A travel cot (95x65) and stairgate are provided but no baby bedding. No pets. Electric car charging point in the village. Guest access Access all areas. Other things to note No beach or bath towels are provided. Travel cot is provided high chair and junior chair. I don't allow groups of under 24 yrs so please don't ask. Over 24 mixed groups and families only. Max 6 including infants. No animals. candles. fireworks, smoking. The person who books has to stay. Not suitable for the elderly or people with mobility issues. Car charging point in the village. Charging at the house is not permitted.
