Our self-catering accommodation is situated in an 800-year-old converted monastery called SANT ANTONIO, a short 5 minutes drive from the Renaissance town of Montepulciano, renowned for its Vino Nobile wines, restaurants, enotecas, art and culture. Our local area is a paradise for hikers, cyclists, joggers or simply walking through the incredible Tuscan country side that offers memorable sights of farmland, forests and rolling hills. The space Apartment 11 - Michelangelo, Michelangelo Buonarroti Maximum - 4 people (2 couples) Ground floor with private garden (5 steps from the garden to go into the apartment) 2 bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom (each bedroom is air-conditioned) Open plan living, dining room and kitchen Our second-hand crafted gate situated at the boundary of our oak forest leads directly to "Michelangelo". This apartment has its own private garden with a view looking into Umbria, over the Valdichiana and lake Trasimeno in the distance. The garden is furnished with sun beds, shaded gardens chairs and a table to enjoy morning coffee or to dine al fresco under the Tuscan stars. The private entrance leads into an open lounge and equipped kitchen furnished with a rustic Tuscan wooden dining table and chairs, a comfortable sofa set, coffee table and an open plan kitchen. The lounge enjoys the atmosphere of a fireplace that completes this Tuscan countryside accommodation. All apartments are self-catering and furnished with linen, towels etc and kitchen utensils. Bath and bed linen is changed every 3/4 nights. For extra linen or towels changes, a supplementary charge will be applied. Accommodation rates include: - Free 24 hours internet / WIFI. - A private 3.4km running / walking track that winds through the olive grows, farmlands, rolling hills and oak forests with stunning breathtaking views behind each corner..... - Small grass football field and stretching / yoga area - 100-meter hill climb for extra running activities - Parking - Gardens and terraces - BBQ facilities - Gym (for over 18 years of age only, gym regulations apply) - Swimming pool (open in the summer from May to October) - Laundry room with washing machines available for all guests 24 hours per day PLEASE NOTE: Our facilities are for the use of our registered in-house guests only. Firewood: €5.00 per night for accommodations with a fireplace, if used only. NB: A tourist tax of €2.00 per person per day is not included in the accommodation rate and is to be settled when paying the final account. The apartment has 2 double bedrooms, each air-conditioned and furnished with wardrobes, draws and a double bed fitted with an orthopedic mattress, en suite bathrooms consisting of a toilet, bidet, shower and sink. Guest access Sant Antonio has a private gate and underground garage for the use of our guests. Guests will be provided with a remote control during check-in. Accommodation includes free 24 hours internet connection / WIFI which is available around the pool (during the warmer months), terraces, gardens and accommodations. There is no charge for car parking or the use of our private 3.4km running / walking track that winds through the olive grows, farm lands, rolling hills and oak forests with stunning breathtaking views. All guests have free use of our Swimming pool during the summer season, small football field and BBQ's. Our accommodations are reserved exclusively for the private use of the registered guests staying in our accommodations in Montepulciano or at Sant Antonio in the countryside. The accommodation and all facilities provided are for the sole use of registered guests. Visitors who are not registered are not permitted on the property without prior approval. Private cookery courses, or similar activities in any of our accommodations may only be held with our prior written permission. Parties, load music or events are not permitted. Other things to note CHECK IN TIME: Kindly arrive in the afternoon between 3.00pm and 5.00pm The office and reception at Sant'Antonio closes at 6.00pm. Arrivals after 6.30pm are not possible. We thank you for your understanding. Some accommodations at Sant Antonio during the season are on a weekly basis with arrival on Saturday.
