Our self catering accommodation is in an 800 year old converted monastery situated 5 minutes drive from the Renaissance town of Montepulciano, renowned for its Vino Nobile wines, close to art and culture, with great views, restaurants, coffee bars and enotecas. Our local area is a paradise for hikers, cyclists, joggers or simply walking through the incredible Tuscan country side that offers memorable sights of farmland, forests and rolling hills. The space Apartment 11 - Michelangelo, Michelangelo Buonarroti Our second hand crafted gate situated at the boundary of our oak forest leads directly "Michelangelo", our most private apartment on our 800 year old converted monastery. This apartment has its own garden with a view looking into Umbria, over the Valdichiana and lake Trasimeno in the distance. The garden is furnished with shaded gardens chairs and a table to enjoy morning coffee or to dine al fresco under the Tuscan stars. The private entrance leads into a spacious open lounge and kitchen furnished with a rustic Tuscan wooden dining table and chairs, a comfortable sofa set, coffee table and an open plan kitchen. The lounge enjoys the atmosphere of a working fireplace that completes this Tuscan countryside accommodation, a great addition to enjoying a glass of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano during the cooler out of season nights. The apartment has 2 air-conditioned double bedrooms, each completely furnished with wardrobes, draws and one double bed fitted with an orthopedic mattress, en suite bathrooms consisting of a toilet, shower, sink and bidet. All our bed linen and towels placed in the accommodation is made from the finest Italian fabrics. We have installed WIFI and satellite TV to kept you up to date with international events and news. Guest access The accommodation is part of our 800 year old converted monastery situated 5 minutes drive from the Renaissance town of Montepulciano, renowned for its Vino Nobile wines. Accommodation include free 24 hours internet connection / WIFI which is available around the pool (during the warmer months), terraces, gardens and accommodations. There is no charge for car parking or the use of our private 3.4km running / walking track that winds through the olive grows, farm lands, rolling hills and oak forests with stunning breathtaking views behind each corner..... All guests have free use of our Swimming pool during the summer season, small football field and BBQ's. Other things to note All apartments are self catering and furnished with linen, towels etc and kitchen utensils. Bath and bed linen is changed every 3/4 nights. For extra linen or towels changes, a supplementary charge will be applied. Accommodation rates includes: - Free 24 hours internet / WIFI. - A private 3.4km running / walking track that winds through the olive grows, farmlands, rolling hills and oak forests with stunning breathtaking views behind each corner..... - Small grass football field and stretching / yoga area - 100 meter hill climb for extra running activities - Parking - Gardens and terraces - BBQ facilities - Swimming pool (during the warmer season) Firewood: Euro 5.00 per night for accommodations with a fireplace, if used. During the colder season, rates are exclusive of central heating, to be paid separately in on a consumption basis. Each accommodation is individually controlled. Rates are non profit. NB: A tourist tax of €2.00 per person per day is not included in the accommodation rate and is to be settled when paying the final account. Bookings during the medium and high season are on a weekly basis with arrival on Saturday. We kindly ask for your understanding not to arrive on Sundays if possible as the office is closed.
