Set in a quiet and peaceful location behind The Bay Horse pub, The Westwood is the perfect place to relax and unwind while still being ideally situated for exploring Beverley, Hornsea and the beautiful East Yorkshire countryside and coast. 🏡 The lodge The Westwood comfortably sleeps up to four guests and has two bedrooms, making it ideal for couples, families or friends looking for a peaceful break. The spacious main bedroom has a double bed and its own walk-in wardrobe, providing plenty of storage space and making the lodge particularly comfortable for longer stays. The second bedroom has two small single beds. The bright and comfortable lounge has large windows and French doors opening directly onto the private decking, creating a lovely place to sit back and relax after a day exploring East Yorkshire. There's also a separate kitchen and dining area, a bathroom with both a bath and shower, a TV and a washing machine for your convenience. 🛏️ Everything you need for a comfortable stay We want your stay at The Westwood to be as easy and relaxing as possible. Fresh bed linen and towels are provided for all guests, along with a selection of basic essentials to help you settle in and feel at home from the moment you arrive. 🌳 A peaceful countryside setting Hamlet Rise enjoys a wonderfully quiet and peaceful setting in the small hamlet of Arnold. Step outside and you're surrounded by the East Yorkshire countryside, while still having the convenience of a traditional country pub right on your doorstep. Your lodge also has its own private decking, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee, sitting outside with a good book or simply relaxing at the end of the day. 🌊 Perfect for exploring Beverley & Hornsea The Westwood is ideally positioned for discovering some of the best of East Yorkshire. Head towards the coast and you'll find Hornsea, with its beach and promenade, independent shops, cafés and restaurants, as well as beautiful Hornsea Mere. In the other direction, you can explore the historic market town of Beverley, with its magnificent Minster, independent shops, cafés, restaurants and popular markets. You'll also be well placed for exploring the surrounding villages, countryside and the wider East Yorkshire and Yorkshire coast. Whether you fancy a day at the seaside, countryside walks, shopping and lunch in Beverley or simply staying close to the lodge and relaxing, The Westwood makes a great base. 🍺 The Bay Horse – right on your doorstep One of the real advantages of staying here is having The Bay Horse pub just moments from your lodge. This welcoming traditional country pub is renowned locally for its home-cooked food, so whether you fancy an evening meal, Sunday lunch or simply a relaxing drink. The Bay Horse can get busy, particularly at popular times, so we recommend booking a table in advance if you're planning to eat there. 🐾 Dogs are very welcome We know holidays are even better when your four-legged family members can come too, so well-behaved dogs are very welcome at The Westwood. With countryside nearby and plenty of dog-friendly places to discover around Hornsea and East Yorkshire, it's a lovely base for a break with your dog. We kindly ask that dogs are kept off the furniture and beds and aren't left unattended in the lodge. Although we're very happy to welcome dogs, we ask guests to please bring their own dog beds and throws with them to help us keep the lodge comfortable and welcoming for everyone. 📺 Time to switch off There is a TV for relaxing evenings, but please note that The Westwood does not currently have Wi-Fi. For many guests, that's part of the appeal – a chance to slow down, switch off and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and some quality time together.
