Shepherds hut Westleton/Minsmere, Suffolk Coast

We live just outside the pretty village of Westleton, a five minute drive to Dunwich beach and a short bike ride to the RSPB Minsmere. Southwold and Aldeburgh are also close by. The Shepherds hut has its own field, full of wild flowers and wildlife with beautiful views across the fields. On a clear night stargazing is breathtaking and most mornings the bird song will wake you! This is simple living! The space The shepherds hut is newly built to a very high standard and fully insulated so nice and cosy. Inside there is a double bed and a wood burner and plenty of wood available. The hut has electricity and some limited WiFi so it’s possible to work if necessary. There are all essentials needed to cook a lovely meal and a beautiful outside space to relax on deckchairs around the fire pit. There is a travel cot for babies and toddlers on request. Across the field (35 metres away) is the bathroom and washing up area. There is a loo, a hot shower and an outside sink with cold water for washing up. A small fridge is provided for guest use.
