The space Tucked away at the rear of the property and sitting right on the riverfront, the Boathouse is your own private space to slow down, switch off and enjoy life by the water. The owners live in the main residence at the street-front of the property, while the Boathouse sits separately at the back with its own private access and dedicated guest space. Once you arrive, you can come and go independently and settle into your own little pocket of the river. Inside, the Boathouse is a relaxed, open-plan stay designed for easy weekends and longer escapes. There’s a comfortable sleeping area, lounge, dining space and kitchenette, along with a private bathroom. But the real hero here is outside. Step out towards the river and you’ll find beautiful established gardens, outdoor spaces to sit and unwind, and direct access to the waterfront and jetty. Start the morning with coffee overlooking the water, spend the afternoon watching the river drift by, then settle in as the light changes over the mountains. The covered outdoor area gives you another place to dine, read or simply enjoy the outlook, making the most of the waterfront setting in almost any weather. It’s simple, comfortable and all about the location. A peaceful little waterfront base for guests who would rather wake up beside the river than in the middle of town. Guest access Guests have private access to the Boathouse, with your own entrance allowing you to come and go independently throughout your stay. The Boathouse and its immediate guest areas are yours to enjoy, along with access to the riverfront, outdoor entertaining area and jetty. The owners live separately in the main residence at the street-front of the property and may be onsite during your stay. Check-in is simple and self-guided, with full arrival and access instructions provided prior to your stay. Other things to note The Boathouse is located at the riverfront of a residential property, with the owners living separately in the main house towards the street. You’ll have your own access and private accommodation, however you may occasionally see the owners coming and going. A few things worth knowing: Waterfront location: The property has direct access to the river and jetty. Please take care around the water, particularly after dark, and children must be supervised at all times. Shared property: While your Boathouse accommodation and designated guest areas are for your use, this is not an exclusively occupied property. Please respect the owners’ private home and areas not intended for guests. Nature comes with the territory: Being right on the water means you may encounter birds, insects, geckos and other local wildlife. It’s all part of staying in this beautiful riverside setting. Quiet stay: This is a peaceful residential setting and best suited to guests looking to relax and unwind. Parties, events and additional visitors are not permitted.
