ALFIE 2.0 - ARRIVING APRIL 2019! When you want the fun of camping with the comforts of home – you need a Glampervan! Alfie is a 6 berth luxury Glampervan. Although longer than a car, Alfie doesn't take long to get used too. He is decked out with the comforts of home & some unexpected luxuries. Perfect for short weekends away, special events , just getting back to basics or even a few weeks exploring Britain ..... or Europe. Why not hire Alfie's brother Billy - and have yourself a convoy!! The space Billy is a 6-speed modern motorhome that can easily cruise at 70 miles per hour on a motorway. He has 6 berths and 6 seat belts to easily carry your family and friends; and is furnished with beds, a fully functioning kitchen with a fridge, cooker, oven and sink; and a bathroom for the perfect holiday. Pick-ups can now be done any day of the week - but minimum duration is now 7 nights during July and August and 4 nights the rest of the year - sorry! Collection is after 4pm, and return before 11am. Drivers need to have held a valid MANUAL driver's license for at least 2 years. (Non-UK or Non-EU licenses may have restrictions). Drivers also need to be aged between 21 and 75; drivers aged between 21 & 25 will incur additional insurance excesses [and increased deposit requirements]. Collection from airports or train stations may be arranged on request. Other things to note Each driver will need to supply supporting documentation and sign a 'Driver's Details and Insurance Acceptance' statement. The main 'Guest' will also need to sign a separate Glampervan UK booking agreement accepting Glampervan UKs terms and conditions - to ensure that the LV insurance is valid. An £800 security and insurance excess deposit is required. This will be held - and refunded if no damage or other charges are incurred - by Airbnb. In addition a £5 payment will be required as a 'traceable' transaction for the insurance provider. If attending a festival – there will be an additional £250 charge (inclusive of VAT). Failure to notify that you are attending a festival will be a breach of your agreement and cancel your insurance cover. ** Glastonbury charges are available on request. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept the following drivers: a) Persons who have been convicted of an offence in connection with the driving of a motor vehicle or motorcycle and/or have had their driving licence endorsed or suspended; or had more than 6 penalty points imposed. b) Persons who have had their insurance declined and/or renewal refused and/or special insurance terms imposed as a result of previous claims and/or have had their insurance or cover cancelled by any Motor Insurer. c) Persons engaged wholly or partly in professional entertainment or professional sports persons. d) Jockeys and persons connected with racing, gaming industry or press of any sort. e) Undergraduates and/or students under 25 years of age. f) Persons who, whilst driving, have been involved in more than one accident during the past 3 years. g) Foreign Service Personnel other than persons holding a full UK/EU licence for two years or more. h) Drivers can be rejected at the Owners discretion.
