Our small complex Skyros Kochylia is open all year and consists of 5 apartments of different size and amenities. All apartments are built in traditional island style and located in the traditional car-free main settlement of Skyros, just opposite the church of Agios Ioannis. Theseus, Lykomidis, Axill and Neoptolemus are persons of mythology, which are inseparably connected with the history of the island. The Neolithic period, the classical period, the Roman and subsequently the Ottoman domination to piratical invasions, all this has shaped the island, a living room with archaic roots, which still live in traditional customs and practices. In the two museums on the island, Folklore and Archaeological Museum, there are many documents and monuments of this important past. Skyros is the largest island of the Northern Sporades island complex and is characterized by a unique landscape feature.
