Shepherd's Hut walking distance to Tintagel & SWCP

Cabin Beaver is our cosy, bespoke built shepherd's hut at Beaver Cottages. We are a 15-20-minute walk to historic Tintagel, a 30-minute walk to the stunning Trebarwith Strand surfing beach, and just a few minutes from the South West Coast Path which is two fields away. You'll have a private patio with countryside views. A separate bathroom exclusively for Cabin Beaver guests is a 10-second walk away down the driveway. There's a shared utility space with freezer, microwave and washing machine. The space Cabin Beaver is our cosy, fully insulated, bespoke-built wriggly tin shepherd's hut at Beaver Cottages, ideally located for walkers of the South West Coast Path (just two fields away), or glampers and visitors looking to visit historic Tintagel, the amazing bridge, or the gorgeous Trebarwith Strand surfing beach - all within walking distance or a very short drive. We are close to plenty of North Cornwall's greatest hits including St Nectan's Glen, Boscastle, Port Isaac, Padstow, Polzeath, and Bude. A separate bathroom exclusively for your use and shared utility space are a 10-second walk away down the driveway. The hut can also be rented as an extra bedroom with either of our two holiday lets (The Lodge and The Smithy at Beaver Cottages). About the space: The hut is wonderfully compact and has everything you need for your stay - a fold down double bed with comfy memory foam mattress, oak bench seats and table, small kitchenette with kettle, toaster and fridge, heater, TV, and a small room for storing your luggage and clothes. There's also a portable sink in the hut for you to wash your hands. The hut is fully insulated with double glazing, and features a charming stable door. Outside is a private patio with lovely countryside views, and a bistro table and chairs - ideal for an aperitif! Just down the driveway is your bathroom with sink, toilet and shower, and a shared utility space with washing machine, freezer, microwave, kitchen sink, and various body boards and wetsuits you may borrow. Please note there is no mains water in the shepherd's hut, and no cooker or oven, but enough facilities to make breakfast or cook a ready meal in the utility room. We provide a large jar of fresh water, instant and ground (caffetier) coffee, tea, sugar, biscuits and a little milk. A well-behaved, clean dog is welcome but please keep them off the bed. The patio is slate-stone and has no grass, but there is plenty of grass at the entrance to the driveway, and a stile leads into an adjacent field and public footpath. There are plenty of local dog walks and dog-friendly beaches nearby. One off-street parking spot is available for Cabin Beaver guests. Our WiFi won't work in the hut, but BT guest WiFi may be accessible from the utility room. We generally get good mobile network signal. Please check your coverage for the area. All bedding, towels, washing up sponges and a tea towel are provided. There is a small portable table top fan for your use in a heatwave should you need it, and an electric wall-mounted heater for cooler weather. For all SWCP walkers - we are a designated SWCP passport stamping point. Please note, we live next door in one of the cottages at Beaver Cottages. During your stay The Lodge and The Smithy may also be occupied by other guests - please be respectful of other guests and keep noise to a minimum. Amenities Tintagel is a 2-minute drive or 15-minute walk away. There you'll find bakeries, pasties, pubs, cafés, groceries, and plenty of curiosity shops.
