The Granite Dream

The Granite Dream is a villa tucked away on a quiet side street, despite its central location close to the famous Shore Temple and the beach. Each area of the house features its own beautiful granite flooring – a special connection to Mahabalipuram’s renowned stone craftsmanship and its ancient temples and monuments. By prior arrangement, guests can also access the rooftop terrace of our family home across the street, offering a unique view of the Shore Temple and the sunrise over the sea. The space Each room has its own beautiful granite floor - hence the name "The Granite Dream". What makes this place so special is that you can reach the famous Shore Temple in an 8-minute walk. Plus, from the rooftop terrace of the family home across the street, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the temple and the ocean, by arrangement with Rajesh. This view is especially worth seeing at sunrise. Besides, you can walk to the beach in under 5 minutes, and the popular shopping street Othavadaistreet with its many shops and restaurants is right around the corner! Despite this very central location, the accommodation is situated on a small, quiet side street with little traffic. Guest access In most cases, the entire house is booked as a single unit. However, there is also the option to book the individual bedrooms separately, as each has its own door leading outside. The master bedroom has its own private bathroom, and the other two bedrooms share a bathroom. There is also a guest bathroom that can be accessed from the living room. A Few Things to Know Parking You can park one car in the designated parking space across the street from the house. Check-in and Check-out Please follow the check-in and check-out times confirmed in your Airbnb reservation. If you need any assistance, feel free to contact us. Air Conditioning and Electricity Please help us save energy by switching off the air conditioning, lights, and other electrical appliances whenever you leave the house. Drinking Water We provide one bottle of drinking water per guest. Please note that tap water is not suitable for drinking. We recommend using bottled or otherwise purified water. Waste Disposal No need to worry about taking out the rubbish. Simply leave your rubbish in the entrance area outside the front door when you check out. Our family will take care of the rest. Rooftop Terrace Feel free to enjoy the rooftop terrace of the house and take in the surroundings. If you would like to experience a beautiful sunrise with a view of the sea and the Shore Temple, access to our family’s private rooftop across the street can be arranged with Rajesh. Need Any Help?
