Plenty of space for spending time together and an ideal base for exploring Thuringia. Up to 8 guests can be accommodated in 105 m²: 2 bedrooms, spacious living area with sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen and balcony. Families with children will also find plenty of facilities for playing and feeling comfortable with us. Gotha, Erfurt, Weimar, Bad Langensalza, Eisenach, the Hainich National Park with UNESCO World Natural Heritage, and the Thuringian Forest are wonderful to explore from here. Our spacious and high-quality furnished vacation apartment offers a temporary home across 105 m² for families, families of friends and friends who want to discover Thuringia together. Historical elements, exposed wood, and modern, warm decor give the apartment its special character. The focal point is the spacious, open-concept living, cooking and eating area: have breakfast together in the morning, cook together after an outing, play games or round off the evening with a glass of wine. This isn't just a place to stay overnight. Here, vacation can also be time at home. Plenty of space for getting together The open-plan kitchen leads directly into the spacious dining and living area. The large dining table accommodates the whole family, while the fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need to cook for yourself, from a quick breakfast to a shared dinner. The cozy living area then invites you to sit together. If needed, the couch can be pulled out and provides two additional sleeping places. Sleeping arrangements – flexible for families and friends We can accommodate up to 8 guests. In the first bedroom, a cozy double bed awaits you in a quiet, warm atmosphere. The second bedroom is designed to be particularly flexible: Two pull-out single beds can be used individually or extended, and together they offer sleeping accommodations for up to four people. The visual division creates different sleeping areas – practical for siblings, families or friends traveling together. If needed, the pull-out couch in the living area provides two additional sleeping places. Our little guests are also taken care of Children's books, board games and children's games as well as a PlayStation with various games also provide entertainment when the Thuringian weather doesn't cooperate. A high chair and travel cot are available for the little ones. The apartment deliberately remains a stylish place for the whole family – child-friendly without becoming a children's hotel. Two bathroom areas – especially pleasant with several guests The modern master bathroom has a spacious shower, toilet and sink. In addition, a second separate bathroom with a toilet and sink is available. Especially when several people are traveling together, a second toilet quickly becomes a small luxury that you no longer want to do without. Your own spot in the fresh air The apartment has a furnished balcony that is for the exclusive use of our guests. Access is outside the apartment via the shared hallway. The balcony itself can be locked separately and is used exclusively by the guests of the apartment. A nice place for the first coffee in the morning or a quiet end to a long day of excursions. Guest access Access is via the large courtyard gate. The rest of the way to the apartment is signposted. Check-in is flexible and contactless via a key box at the building entrance, including a code. This will be announced after the booking has been made. This way, you decide for yourself when you arrive and don't have to plan your vacation around a handover date. Other things to note Thuringia at your doorstep The quiet location in Ballstädt makes our vacation rental a wonderful starting point for a wide variety of discovery tours through Thuringia. From here, you can decide in the morning what you feel like doing: Experience nature and treetops in Hainich National Park with its UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. Stroll through the historic old town and the gardens of Bad Langensalza. Discover Friedenstein Castle and the royal seat in Gotha. Spend a day in Erfurt with the Krämerbrücke, Domplatz and the Old Town. Following in the footsteps of Goethe, Schiller and the Bauhaus in Weimar. Or drive in the direction of Eisenach and Wartburg and further into the Thuringian Forest. And there are also places to enjoy everyday treats right in the village: Our Konsum grocery store in Ballstädt offers a nice selection of regional products as well as baked goods and meats. Perfect for fresh rolls in the morning, ingredients for a shared dinner, or something delicious for a snack. We can especially recommend the fresh Hildegard von Bingen bread – and for a small treat in between, you should definitely try the soft serve ice cream. And after? Back to tranquility. Shoes off. Cooking together. A glass of wine. The children are playing. Arrive. Breathe deeply. Spend time together.
