Tugela River Lodge: Hot Tub Hideaway

Tugela River Lodge is a pet friendly, self-catering Eco-Lodge, located on a private cattle and game farm on the banks of the Tugela River, near Winterton, KZN, South Africa. We run off solar and gas and invite guest to come and enjoy the quiet side of nature. Our lodge has access to many miles of trails for hiking, biking and running through our private game farm where one can get up close and personal with our resident giraffe. The sounds of the river are sure to put you to sleep at night! The space The Hideaway is a 6 sleeper unit, with a kitchen, lounge and dining room downstairs, and 2 bedrooms upstairs. One room has a queen size bed and 1 single bed and the other has 3 single beds. This unit is ideal for smaller groups and families. Other things to note As we run off batteries you must not use the following items, or items similar to these: Portable coffee machines (Nespresso etc) Hairdryers Electric blankets Portable air conditioners Heaters Portable microwaves or stoves plates Car battery fridges or portable fridges Your own inverters or battery chargers If you plug these items into the system you run the risk of damaging our batteries, which are very expensive.
