Organic holidays under thatched roof near Lübeck

With us you can swing in the hammock, ride a bike, discover the cities of brick Gothic and enjoy the stylish historical ambience. We have biologically renovated our listed thatched cottage from 1750 with clay walls, wooden floorboards, rustic half-timbering and wooden furniture. Lakes and the Baltic Sea, 25 kilometers away, invite you to swim. In the Hanseatic cities of Lübeck, Wismar and Rostock as well as the castle and cathedral cities of Ratzeburg and Schwerin you can discover many cultural treasures. The space Living under a thatched roof is special: natural, cozy, relaxing. In the cozily furnished half of the house you can relax: On the first floor there is a bedroom with a double bed (width 150 cm, metal-free) and a wardrobe, a shower room and a kitchen with dining area and fireplace. A large living room with a sofa, wicker armchairs, and a daybed (90 cm) is located on the first floor and can be accessed via an open wooden staircase. Each of the windows has a view of the countryside. On cold days, a wall heater and a wood-burning stove provide cozy warmth. A selection of books and board games are available, as well as blankets and pillows for the garden. In the garden you can discover barbecues and the large natural property with plenty of seating for you. There are cycling and hiking maps, as well as tips on leisure activities and excursions to the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve, of which we are a partner institution. Thanks to its features, our apartment is also suitable for highly sensitive individuals (allergies, electrosensitivity, chemical substances). It is radio- and media-free; there is NO Wi-Fi or TV – therefore, personal radio technology such as Wi-Fi boosters or Bluetooth devices, among others, is not permitted. Of course, you can access the internet via cable if you bring your own mobile device. Guest access You will stay in your own half of the house with your own entrance and it is completely for you. A large part of the garden is at your disposal. Other things to note The apartment is suitable for allergy sufferers and electrosmog sensitive people. There is a mains power supply and internet via a cable connection.
