This beautifully renovated upstairs condo is located in the heart of downtown Ouray. The front entrance is located off 6th Ave (same as Kristopher's Culinary, Hotel Ouray and the new MoJo's Coffee Shop), just a half block from Main Street. The condo was renovated in 2018/2019 with brand new EVERYTHING (floors, kitchen, bathroom, carpet, windows, HVAC, etc.)! All finishes are high end giving the feeling of a lux stay. The condo has an open concept while the bedroom and bathroom are private. The bathroom houses a washer and dryer. Clean towels and bedding provided as well as clean towels that can be used at the hot springs. The outdoor patio is a perfect setting for morning breakfast or evening dining. A grill is available for use as well. With beautiful views of Twin Peaks and Mount Hayden, guests are sure to find the space enjoyable. Ouray is full of outdoor and indoor activities and therefor your hosts are available to you if you need any recommendations. Ouray is a quant mountain town set at 7,700 feet. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in downtown Ouray and outdoor activities just steps from Main Street. Renting a Jeep to explore the high country around the town is a popular activity along with soaking in the numerous hot springs the area offers. The town is walkable but remember the elevation - you may find you get out of breath quicker than if you were at sea level. Several companies in town rent Jeeps and ATVs for your exploration needs. The town of Ridgway is just 15 minutes away by car. Telluride is located an hour away and Silverton just 45 minutes over Red Mountain Pass. Guests may want to extend their travels a bit further and visit the spectacular Black Canyon of the Gunnison (1 hour away) or sip wine in Palisade (2 hours away). Whether guests want to enjoy an extended weekend or a couple weeks in the area - there is plenty to do.
