Escape to a secluded 45-acre retreat near the Current River in SE Missouri. Enjoy a fishing pond with paddle boat & board, bonfire pit, miles of mowed trails, pickleball court, chef’s kitchen, and covered patio. 7BR/3BA + 1 handicap-accessible bedroom/bath—ideal for vacations, reunions, float trips, and weekend getaways. The space Welcome to The Lodge at Loma Linda 🏡🛶🪝🥾🔥 GUEST CAPACITY + SLEEPING (PLEASE READ) The lodge sleeps 14 guests in beds: • 4 bedrooms with queen beds • 3 bedrooms with two twin beds each (6 twins total) (10 beds total) Up to 6 additional overnight guests may be accommodated on air mattresses (bring your own) or in recliners for a $30 one-time fee per extra guest. Important: Air mattresses may NOT be placed in bedrooms due to limited space and fire safety. We provide 2 towels + 2 washcloths per guest. ⸻ THIS IS A PEACEFUL PROPERTY (NOT A PARTY HOUSE) This is a quiet, private countryside retreat—perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. If you’re looking for a party house, this is not the right fit. We live on-site, and all outdoor music must end by 10:00 PM. Our home shares the courtyard area with the lodge and is connected via an exterior courtyard wall/sidewalk. The courtyard/pool area is not included with the lodge rental and is not available to guests. The lodge does include a private covered patio overlooking the pond. ⸻ EVENTS + DAY GUESTS (STRICTLY ENFORCED) Small events are allowed with approval. The booking includes 14 guests. If additional guests visit the property (even if not staying overnight), there is a $10 per person day guest fee for every guest over 14. Please do not bring extra guests without paying required fees. We live next door and monitor guest count. If guest counts are exceeded without payment/approval, you may be asked to leave without refund. ⸻ OPTIONAL EXTRA LODGING: BUNKHOUSE (SEPARATE RENTAL) We also have a very basic bunkhouse near our wedding barn (about ¼ mile from the lodge). It includes: • 6 bunk beds • Sitting area • Full bathroom Rate: $115/night, 2-night minimum, paid in person. ⸻ KITCHEN + SUPPLIES The kitchen includes all standard appliances and cookware/utensils. We provide: • Keurig + standard coffee maker • Coffee filters • Dish cloths • 1 roll of paper towels • Gas grill Please bring your own: • Coffee • Food/pantry items • Leftover containers (Tupperware) ⸻ BATHROOMS + TOILETRIES We provide: • 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom (6 total) • Hand soap • 3 hairdryers Please bring your own: • Shampoo/conditioner • Toothpaste • Personal toiletries ⸻ BEDROOMS + LAYOUT NOTES All bedrooms are similar in size (not spacious). • 6 bedrooms upstairs with 2 large bathrooms in the center • Twin rooms overlook the courtyard area • Queen rooms overlook the south field • One queen bedroom is on the main level next to the third bathroom (slightly larger, no window) If traveling with small children, we recommend a smaller pack-and-play due to room size. ⸻ ENTERTAINMENT + EXTRAS Enjoy: • Ping pong table • Board games + books • Cornhole set • DirecTV + free WiFi We also provide: • Firewood for the outdoor fireplace and bonfire pit • 2 extra folding tables + 4 benches (stored under stairwell) • High chair + pack-and-play Note: Patio furniture stays outdoors year-round. Paddle boat is removed during winter. ⸻ PROPERTY MAINTENANCE We mow later in the week (weather permitting) and flowers are watered daily. Please treat all staff respectfully. Guests may not ask workers to leave while they are performing scheduled maintenance. ⸻ ANIMALS ON PROPERTY (IMPORTANT) We have two friendly outdoor pets: • Shy, our Great Dane/Great Pyrenees mix (very calm, friendly, may lean on you) • Sweetie, our social cat Please do not book if you are uncomfortable around friendly outdoor pets. No guest pets allowed on the property. No exceptions. ⸻ LAUNDRY OPTION Washer/dryer rental: $10/day (bring your own detergent). Located in the kitchen/workroom by the wedding venue. Unavailable Friday–Sunday if there is an event. ⸻ TRASH Two large trash receptacles are located on the lodge patio. Please place bagged trash in the receptacles. ⸻ EXTRA TABLES + RENTALS (FOR GATHERINGS) The main floor can fit five 6-ft folding tables for extra dining (30–34 additional guests). Dining table seats 6–8. Tables, chairs, linens, and décor may be rented (see photos for pricing). Day guest fee still applies for guests over 14 ($10/person). Set-up is not included. ⸻ SECURITY CAMERAS Outdoor security cameras are located on the driveway and owner’s home. ⸻ HOUSE RULES + TIMING Please read all house rules, directions, and the house manual after booking. Early check-in / late check-out: $60 per hour (strictly enforced). We value our private time and must keep schedules consistent. ⸻ LOST & FOUND Forgotten items are held for 30 days then donated/disposed of. Guests are responsible for arranging pickup/shipping. This boat is designed for slow, scenic enjoyment, not speed or watersports. Seating: • 2 built-in seats • Deck space to accommodate up to 2 additional chairs • Maximum 4 guests Motor: Quiet electric trolling motor for calm, no-wake cruising ⸻ ⏳ Boat Rental Rates Half Day (4 Hours) • $145 Perfect for fishing, exploring the shoreline, or a relaxed afternoon on the water. ⸻ Full Day (Up to 8 Hours) • $225 Great for guests who want a full day of fishing, floating, and enjoying the lake at their own pace. Guest access Guests have access to the lodge and the outdoor areas near the lodge, including the trails and pond area. We also operate a wedding venue approximately ¼ mile from the lodge. If there is a wedding scheduled during your stay, please do not visit the wedding venue area (to respect guest privacy and event operations). We will do our best to notify you in advance if a wedding is scheduled during your dates. Please note that some weddings may be booked after the lodge reservation is confirmed. GATES / FIELD ACCESS For safety and livestock/property management, please do not open any gates or enter gated fields. You are welcome to explore the property anywhere you can access without opening a gate. Other things to note GPS / Directions Our physical address does not always register correctly with GPS. We’ve pinned the correct location on Maps as “The Lodge at Loma Linda,” which will bring you directly to the property. If needed, we’re happy to provide written directions by call or email. We’re in the country, but conveniently located right off the highway. Cell Service Cell service can be limited inside the lodge due to our remote location and metal roof. Verizon and AT&T typically have the best service on the property. Wi-Fi (Starlink) Wi-Fi is provided through Starlink. It performs well for our rural area, but occasional slowdowns or brief outages can happen. Please plan accordingly if you need guaranteed high-speed internet for work.
