Lovely 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom patio home located close (4-5 blocks) to shops, Starbucks, restaurants, and movie theater. All the amenities that Southern California has to offer including Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Universal Studios, Beaches, etc... is easily accessed from this location which is a quick ride to the major freeways. Only a 10 minute drive to shop the Citadel Factory Outlets or try your luck at the Commerce Casino. Close to Kaiser, Rancho Los Amigos, & PIH hospitals. This three bedroom, two bath home of approximately 1200 sq feet, features central heating and air conditioning, a living area with TV, full kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, stove and microwave and dining area. The kitchen is equipped with all manners of utensils for cooking. There is a wall-mounted TV in the living room. The home has a master suite with private bath. Two bedrooms are fully furnished with queen size bedroom furnishings and the third bedroom has two twin beds, trundle style and a wall-mounted TV. The beds are dressed with comfy, all cotton, high quality bed linens. Both master bathroom and 2nd bath have a tub shower combo. There is a laundry area with washer and dryer. The patio area is furnished and offers a respite from the sun with cozy seating under a covered canopy. Prior to booking, please let me know the purpose of your stay. Kindly confirm the number of guests that will be residing at the home during the stay, if you have any animals or if there are any smokers in the group. The co-host and I are just a phone call away for anything you might need or questions you may have. I live close by but I let you have your privacy for the duration of your stay. This home is located in a residential setting yet it is very close (about 4 blocks) to shopping, Starbucks, restaurants, movie theater, etc.. Additionally, Stonewood Mall and yummy Porto's Bakery is about a mile away. There is a farmers market that is held downtown on Saturday from 9am-1pm, community bike rides, two golf courses, various festivals, concerts and fun to be had throughout the year. Another perk is that Downey is centrally located to many major freeways that get you to all the other major attractions that you want to see in Southern California; Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Universal Studios, Beaches, Getty Museum, etc... If you want to shop the outlets or gamble, we are only a 10 minute drive away from the Citadel Factory Outlet Shopping Mall and the Commerce Casino. During light traffic times, you can drive to Disneyland in about 25 minutes, Universal Studios/City Walk in about 35-40 minutes, the beaches are about 15-20 minutes away. Southern California is spread out for many miles, so you are most likely going to need a rental car to see the different attractions. For trips to downtown Los Angeles, there is mass transit, but if drinking will be involved perhaps you rather take an Uber or Lyft to your destination. COVID 19 Precautions: After each guest, all hard surfaces are disinfected (walls, including shower walls, floors, glass, handles, shower head, shelf, mirror, bottles, toilet, tile floors in bathroom, kitchen counter, appliances, sink, faucet, doorknobs, tabletops). All dishes and silverware are removed and washed in the dishwasher and replaced. All bedding (including pillows, blankets and bedspreads), towels and rugs are removed, washed and replaced.
